Alleged Killers Sent To Trial

The two men accused of killing a Cass County couple will stand trial for murder.

These two are pathetic! Killing their aunt and uncle in cold blood? I am disgusted. Here are two good reasons for the death penalty.

Nici- Considering that the nephew was AT their home for Easter Sunday, YES...he did hang out with them. Hmmm.....has Easter dinner with relatives, heads home to where he was living with his grandmother, then returns to his uncle and aunt's home to kill them. Funny, huh? Not.

the nephew did not return back to the grandmothers where he was living. he lived in lincoln and went to the grandmothers only for a family gathering for easter then returned back to "his" home in lincoln that evening. it had been at least 6 or 7 years since he lived with his grandparents. if you dont know the facts dont write them.

Someday the truth will come out and everyone who jumped to conclusions and judged before they knew all the facts will have to thank their lucky stars that God forgives.

there have been so many things printed that no one knows the facts and what really happened however 1 fact is is that Nicks brothers car was proven to have dna of one of the murder victims in it how did his car get involved as to being there and end up with dna samples in it if nick wasnt involved? yes God is a forgiving man and does forgive but he does not forgive murders as hyaneous as this and anyone involved and not owning up to it.

Thats interesting Susan. That you know information that has not been released to the public and you are spitting it out there as if it is fact. Funny thing is his brother has the car back...if in fact it did have DNA in it he would not have the vehicle. it would be evidence. You are right that DNA was found....it belonged to the owner of the car. It will be nice when this witch hunt ends. I hope the inoccent parties find it in there hearts to forgive the monsters who spread rumors and lead the police on wild goose chaces.

the car is still in police custody. fester admitted to killing wayne and he also said that reid killed sharmon. reid said she has never seen nick or matt in her life. also, nick was not related to the murder victims, he is only a cousin of matt from the other side of the family.

for your information this information has been released to the public about the car. it has been in at least 2 newspaper articles which you must not get the papers to know the information. i am only stating the facts as they are given in the paper get your facts straight before you reply.

to ctt from houston tx i dont know where you got your source from about the car being back in his coustody but the police still have it in impound and if you are so ontop of the case as you think you are you would know what the newspaper articles are saying these days please read all the articles in the plattsmouth journal and omaha world herald from the las two weeks before replying and see the facts that have been printed.

Im glad a few of you fell into my trap. You see, I fabricated a portion of the story to see if you would call me on it. Of course I know the car is still in police custody as it was just in an article in the Omaha World Herald. Please show me a link or article that states "dna evidence found in Nick's brothers car matches that of the victims". You can't just make things up to fit what you think happened. For that matter please show me an article that states what IF ANY evidence Cass County has. Do you question the police on there facts like you did me? Lets see, a few months back before the ELECTION they were 100% sure they had the right men. Since then OTHER POLICE DEPARTMENTS have brought in two other suspects WITH evidence...a ring, shotgun shells, diaries, stollen vehicles, finger prints, they even admitted to doing it. Still nothing from Cass County on the two they were 100% sure did it. I want justice for the Stocks just as much as anyone but how many innocent peoples lives have to be soiled to do this.

i dont know who you are ctt from houston but i want justice for the stocks as well i want both guys set free as well you dont know what their families NICKS AND MATTS are going through or the suffering theyve gone through you do not need to set traps just know what the truth is and keep up with articles

htmma....I do know what they are going through to an extent, as I know Nicks family very well. I grew up with Matt also but hadn't seen him in years. I also was babysat by the Stocks as a child and knew Andy well. Although I dont live there anymore I do have friends and family in the area and have ***extremely first hand*** knowledge of the questionable practices of the Cass County police involving this case.(when all this is over I will be happy to elaborate) I know what Murdock is like...it will be very hard for the families to ever get back to normal. I take protection of peoples rights very seriously and wan't the Cass County Sheriff's office to be exposed for what they are. What happened to the Stocks is horrible and they deserve honest and true justice and thats not what there getting. Every day that the innocent parties are in jail is another tragedy. I don't like seting traps and tricking people but sometimes thats the only way you can get through to closed minded indiviuals.

ctt from houston all the investigators have done is coersed statements out of people to have things their way. yes everyday the innocent parties are in jail is a complete tragedy they should not have to be going through what they are going through now that the wisconsin couple are in coustody and they have confessions from them they should be set free in my opinion {that is matt and nick} one thing i cannot figure out though is if the neb couple knew no one from neb and had never been to neb then how did they end up in murdock and how in the hell did they know who to rob and god forbid murder? they should most definitely get the death penalty especially as brutal as the murders were and after what she wrote in her diary about killing someone and liking it and wanting to do it again what a sicko!

I don't think there needs to be a Murdock connection at all for this to have happened. First off it could have happened to ANYBODY, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. I don't see how they "knew" who to rob and kill...it just happened. Not that long ago I believe a couple was killed in Ashland and it was random aswell. Murdock's location makes it an ideal place for a crime like this...rural area, no police, proximity to major roads, unlocked doors, etc. There are numerous accounts of random killings taking place through out history so really its not that hard to believe in my opinion. If the teens did have a Murdock connection why wouldn't they have givin it up..At this point I think they know the evidence is stacked against them...why would they keep this a secret? It will be interesting to see what if anything ever comes out about there reason for doing this. I have heard a few rumors about why they came to Murdock but I doubt they are true and will not comment on them unless any of them prove to be true. More likely then not its just overactive imaginations trying to find and answer to WHY.

Where did u get the information about Fester admitting to kill Wayne and that Reid killed the woman? I didn't think that kind of information had been given to the public????

Well for everyone that has posted thoughts here,They must have alot more on Nick and Matt then a Confession,because there lawyers just ask for bond reduction and the Judge said NO..because there was enough evidence to hold them with NO bail,and there has to be more to the 2 teens from wisconsin,i would be willing to bet that all four of theses people have a major part in this,cause why would these two just show up in murdock without knowing anyone in this small town

well i know one of the suspects nick was denied bail because the paper said that 2 people have implicated him to this and as for matt nothing in the papers have come about him everything was coersed on his part. nothing has been released as to anything else on him i know where he was that night and he was not anywhere near murdock that night and no he did not know the couple from wisconsin jessica even said in the omaha paper that she did not even know matt or nick that her and greg did this themselves. that just are not able to release matt due to his coersed statements made they obviously have something on nick though especially if they said 2 people have implicated him in this hes just not telling all the facts.
