Pair receive consecutive life sentences for Murdock slayings

The two Wisconsin residents who broke into a farmhouse ten months ago and shot a rural Murdock couple to death were each sentenced Monday to two consecutive life sentences in prison.

I believe that the sentencing is a fair punishment because many people would of liked them to get the death penalty like I would of. I believe they should have received the death penalty because of the horrible thing that they have done also with her writing in her journal saying she would like to do it again. That would mean that she doesn't feel sorry and that she is just trying to get out. How do you take these two WONDERFUL peoples lives? I don't know who they live with themselves. I personally hope they rot in prison.

Unfortunately the law does not allow an "eye for an eye". It's a shame this is spread all over the country about this! As goes for appeals, I hope that the lawyer and the family continue to put an impression on the judge to keep them both locked up for many, many years! NO ONE has any business taking the lives of precious human beings!!! And, the fact that Jessica "found GOD" is a crock of you know what. That was just a ploy to make her look like she has changed! BULL! Keep murders where they deserve to be!!! AMEN TO THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IN NEBRASKA (even if the case got screwed up by the incompetent prosecuter and police department).
