This man was given an eviction notice and he threatened the court officers with the papers. They then left and called the police. I sure hope than more of this type of activity will not be happening in Michigan with the rest of the forelosures and jobs being lost. I'm glad the officer wasn't hurt bad. Who is really to blame here. Banks? Obama's bailouts? Economy? Job loss? The closure of the mental hospitals in Michigan? I could hear the shots (100-200) rounds fired. From where I live and I also knew the man. This guy was about 50 yrs old and always walked the streets of Allen Park smoking a cigar. Everyday he would walk the streets wearing jeans and a jean jacket long hair and a hat. He was about 6'3" people new that he was different. People would always talk about him and how strange he was. By his size and appearance he was intimidating. I actually talked to this man remind you I don't work in the medical field but I could tell this man needed to be on medication or put in a hospital for help. When I talked to this man his face would twitch maybe he was BI-Polar I don't know but he just said things like he didn't like the way things were going in this world. To many changes for the worse. He spoke quietly could he have been planning this as we spoke I don't know? We spoke months ago. Everyone in the neighborhood has had to of seen this man but did anybody really know him? By him walking the streets was he seeking friendships maybe help? Nobody will ever know now?

If you see people like this try to take a moment to talk to them. Maybe that is all they need. Maybe more but you will never know? People don't take anytime anymore to get to know their neighbors everyone is always to busy. From the 50's when only some families had TVS to the early 80's people knew the people in their neighborhoods.

I saw more people out in my streets yesterday than I have ever seen before and I have lived at this home for 10 years. People need to wake up and be informed with what is going on in places that they live in.

Talk to your neighbors and keep each other informed in your local and national communities. That way we are not hit in the face by these types of acts or worse!
