Don't mean too bring in my two sence. But, my boyfriend and I stayed at the Dudley for a month and the only thing that we ever experienced was the sound of someone knocking on the door. But, we do not remember which room it was. And, we checked every time we heard the knocking and there was no one round. But, we never actually saw anybody there. But, i liked staying there.

I stayed at the Dudley last year. I don't believe in ghosts. But just like with you, there was a knocking at the door. When we opened it, no one was there. The elevator opened and we 'heard' someone come off with what sounded like a lot of keys, yet we saw no one! We followed this "sound" as it moved down the hallway. When I put my hand out, there was an ICE COLD feeling, like you put your hand in a freezer. Maybe just a coincidence, but my small daughter decided to run through the "cold spot" and minutes later became violently sick. She got better about an hour later. If she hadn't gotten sick, I would have investigated this further. It had to be a trick that the Hotel was pulling. I just couldn't figure out how they were doing it. I didn't see any speakers in the hallway, yet this sound moved with us down the hallway. It was right next to us. The cold spot moved with the sound. It felt at least 40 degrees cooler than the rest of the hallway, but I couldn't find any vents anywhere. I googled this because I was curious about our experience. The lady at the front desk told me about some dead caretaker that roams around. Yeah, right. She seemed surprised because she said he never goes on the floor she put us on. She claims she put us there because I had small children with me. Once again, YEAH RIGHT.I', not stupid. There are no such things as ghosts. It was a real neat trick. I just can't figure out how they did the "cold spot." Bravo.

I stayed at the Dudley Hotel on July 19 2013 . I booked 2 rooms a month in advance . When I got there my family was to stay 4 nights we ended up leaving early . The reason why is because in room 314 my son and son in law we're staying in that room . My son says When he would close his eyes and start to fall asleep he heard someone calling his name and telling him to get out . He was in the room by his self . When my son in law went back to the room . He came back with my son and said the door was moving by it self back and forth slowly. When we started talking about what had happened . We all had experience something my room was 306 there room was like a freezer that's how cold it was inside the room my son in law had got hit with the door. I heard knocking on the wall and someone running in the hallway . I even heard of a child laughing . My daughter also heard a voice saying hey and knocking on the wall . My grandson he was having nightmares and he was even getting sick . We just left I didn't even stay the whole 4 nights . I wasn't even told that the hotel is haunted. We stayed 3 daysand left . What a waste of my vacation time. If I known I wouldn't have even booked any rooms .
