Who is this Bill Delong? Is he one of those cage fighters? From the way people talk about him on this site it seems like he is a important person in the community. Perhaps he should consider running for the mayor of Salamanca.

My God man, didn't you read what I wrote, how can you say that?
But, I guess from someone who has carnal knowledge of how the justice system operates would say something like what you did; NOT!
I am not afraid to "admit" I have gotten in trouble with the law in the past. I was a kid. I am also not obtuse enough to suggest that I didn't have it coming a few times, I certainly did. There were other times when I was certainly railroaded however, and I think that this is a scenario which deserves a lot more focus.

And if that is not what your trying to say then what are you saying? File a report with some committee that involves the police themselves is what I keep hearing. What you fail to understand is this: a proper organization that polices the police will not be inclusive.

Are the police inclusive with us? Are we as every day citizens allowed to sit in on meetings, are we granted access to be part of the decisions regarding "strategy," and "operation" of the police as equal citizens?

And since we certainly are not, and instead are fed the line that specific avenues of information and technique should always remain outside of the realm of the "unprofessionals" (see ignorant, unwashed masses), then it stands to reason that any organization designed by the citizenry to keep tabs on local police proceedure can not in any way have police involved in it's operation. All that does is gives a police officer an insider distinction that they would never give back.

He's a cop.
It is the logical conclusion.

I see you are back to the old reliable "critics of the police are all criminals" defense.

You need some new material.

I too haven't worn a halo in my life.

Quickly, if I understand what your saying (not being disrespectful) but, isn't true that any operational insights of a business doesn't allow anyone into the running of their MO's?

Police operations are different. They are suppose to plan and implement these plans, tactics and afterward inform the public why and what occurred. Think about this for a minute, and I'll use what happened in Buffalo as an example, there they let a supposed civic leader in on a drug bust that was happening and instead of keeping the information on the QT he informs the druggies he were involved with! Also, there are a lot of officers who aren't notified of what they will be doing until the last moment. My point being, the citizens shouldn't be aware of the daily operations of the police force as the police chief answers to a civilian, non police officer commission, some of who have been arrested when commissioners in the past, and the Mayor and council.
Would you want someone looking over your shoulder every hour of every day scrutinizing what and how your performing you duties or is the for the supervisor of where you are working responsibility to monitor and report on your productivity?

I hate to disappoint you, but I have never been arrested. Got a speeding ticket in Allegany in 72 during my senior year at St Bona. Only brush with the law I have ever had. Now am I allowed to address why your department is overfunded and overstaffed?

The non registered K/T, who really wants to be PDBS, uses his

moniker as the real registered PDBS because of his jealousy!

Watch how he questions and answers brilliantly with his registered K/T!

Tell that to the registered and non registered K/T's of this world!

But, they wouldn't punch a cop but just slap one with its fins!

Dumb ass fish would then be a Friday night dinner for the boys at the station house!
