Just one question! Why was an 18 month old alone in the lake?

You judgers have no idea the situation here. This was my cousins daughter and this family needs your prayers not your judgment. "You should first take the plank out of your own eye, before trying to remove the needle from your brothers"

Where were the Adults? and why was a baby unattended near water? we all hear it only takes a second for a drowning and as little as 2 " of water . very sad to hear, our prayers to this child and the family - WHY everytime someone gets hurt or worse there is someone claiming to be the cousin,Aunt,etc.. does not sound too believable to us.. I am Donald Trumps long lost Cousin too..- see how untrue that sounds

I am a cousin...how dare you, sandy. Many people read postings...and I choose to defend my cousin. Keep your opinions to yourself if all you do is judge. If you are Donald Trumps cousin...worry and judge his life...not ours.

Regardless of how or why this occurred, things like this are called "accidents". Who are we to judge or question the details? This family is going to have to live with this loss their entire lives. The very least we can do as a community is support and pray for them. This has to be every mother's worst nightmare. To have it actually happen is so tragic. They have my family's thoughts and prayers as they stuggle to deal with all the details that a loss like this entails. May they find comfort in the knowledge that God is holding their little blessing in His arms as they fight to find peace after this devasting loss.

A Professor that cannot spell correctly!! Education is the correct spelling - I think some on here are trying to act bigger than they are.

This family is friends of mine and are a very loving wonderful family. Please do not judge. Anyone who has children knows how fast accidents can happen--within a blink of an eye. Please offer your prayers of comfort and peace, not judgement.

I was not there so I'm not sure exactly how it happened but they are a lot like I am with my kids. Constantly checking where they are and looking for them every second. It can happen so fast especially by water. Please pray as this is life changing.

I know the family and my heart goes out to each and every one of them. They are really struggling right now. They could use your prayers and support, not your negative comments.

Any parent knows that kids are quick. We have a 16 month old.....faster than fast even when you have your eye on him.

My prayers go out to this family. What a terrible accident. None of you have a right to judge this family. You weren't there and don't have all the facts. This was an accident so show some compassion.

How do you manage to know if your kids are in water or not? You are on the net all day.

People can drown by falling in and inhaling water into their lungs. The parents could have been standing right there, you don't know. Maybe she was feeding the ducks, something most parents have done with their kids.

Accidents happen...a while back a boy drown hours after returning home from the city pool....he had inhaled water into his lungs and he drowned hours later while sleeping. If I can find the link, I'll post it. It scared me terribly because YOU JUST NEVER KNOW.
