New lead on man missing since 1994

A "substantial" lead is being followed in the 1994 disappearance of a man from the Allegan city area.

WHAT??? The news article says a "new lead" was found..but they want the public's help with information. If the "public" had information..don't you think someone would have provided it already..Must be really slow in the DB at Allegan PD

This is not an Allegan PD DB problem. It is a case being reviewed by the Allegan County FIT team.This Allegan County FIT team has done an excellent job solving solving cold cases. I would challenge any one of you to do the job they have to do with information/facts that are 15 years old. I would bet you would be unable to do it.

Before you mock and make fun of it, think about the family of this man who would desperately like to have answers as to where he has gone. It is not so much the need to solve a crime as the need to provide his family/friends with information and provide them with closure.

We aren't making fun of the family at all. What we are saying is there is no information in the article at all. What "Lead" is being followed. Re-summerize the case, so that those reading the article may refresh their memories, no one could report a possible lead, if they don't know what case they are talking about. It's the lack of reporting that we are making fun of.

I am very sorry for this man's family. However, the truth will NEVER come from the Allegan CC Team, for they do NOT know or understand the truth in any way shape or form! It's really a shame for the tax payers in Allegan County who are paying their wages for what? Lies, lies and more lies!

I hope you never have to experience first hand a missing family member or wonder what happened to them or where they are. For those of us that do or have - I commend the cold case team of Allegan County and the peace of mind they can bring to family members in our community. The unknown hurts deeply - knowing that not everyone has forgotten - is priceless!

The Allegan FIT Team has done great things solving cold cases? Name 2. Hell, name 1! These a-holes couldn't find a turd at a horse farm. I work for Allegan County. Most of them couldn't catch a crook with a net. 90% are either 70 years old or 30+ pounds overweight. ie: Denny Gore, Mike Russell, Lou (last name escapes me now), Bud Randell.
