According to JCP&L's website -by the end of today an additional 800+ people in Netcong will have power - if the resident don't get power today - they won't have it all week and they don't plan on working in Netcong the rest of the week. I really hope power comes back on!! Does anyone know if this is true, have you seen any more power come on?

The mayor has done NOTHING! We are on the same substation as Landing and Mt. Arlington. Their mayor has been working with JCP&L and guess what - they are getting power back little by little- Netcong -we are being told by JCP&L we will be up by November 11th - SUNDAY- that goes to show you the difference between someone who cares about their town and someone who doesn't.

You are A miss informed please do not spread information unless you know first hand what is going on because you look like a very uneducated person right now. Netcong is working with jcp&l and calling over and over again. I don't believe many of you understand the extent of this outage. Power companies are coming in from all over and bring people up. Be patient read a book be thankful you did not lose your lives, family members, home, a place to return to. Everyone has the same goal in mind to bring up power. It will be up when it is our turn. Relax and enjoy the time away from tv and buy a generator help the engine making industry. You can receive money from FEMA for lose of food.

This is how the repairs are working. There were 1,000,000 customers out; there are probably over 500,000 tree contacts. They have 5,000 employees on the ground working, which is over 10 times the normal amount of workers. This is one of the largest jobs to happen to JCP& L to repair their network. I don't believe the mayor or any other town administrator is going to really influence any type of repairs being done right now. There main goal was to repair major roads and work back from that.

As usual Blue is wrong. Mt Arlington Mayor has relentlessly dogged JCP&L. All his hard work has moved the crews from Netcong to his town. Our lazy do nothing Mayor and Administrator have no clue how to work with in the system. We suffer because no one with an idea how to get things done ran against this guy.

I would like some answers from the 2 stooges.

Since we are talking about our do nothing Mayor and Fat Ass Administrator, I would like to ask a question: What exactly are they doing to pressure JCP&L to restore power? I know that the Mayor is probably busy following his son around to make sure he isn't near any playgrounds with a bag of candy, and Ralph is probably busy eating, but how about they do something.

I also called and the very first thing that comes on the line is a recorded message saying that FEMA is not offering any money towards a food credit.

Yes right now they work on a reimburse system. You sign up say you want food gas and medical relief. After they figure out budget and of course see your annual income you could receive a check. Never hurts to try.

you are absolutely wrong. the mayors from the neighboring town are keeping the people informed and talking on a daily basis with the power company. Netcong's mayor, on the other hand, is doing nothing. This, my friends, is the truth.

I went through Stanhope this morning and guess what....here was that horrible, horrible poor excuse for a human being and police officer, charlie sweigel giving out tickets. he should be working to help the people of the area with no power. obviously stanhope has no emergency management plan in place so charlie is on the loose.

Hey Charlie run this Morons IP address and watch the expression on his face when you knock on his door. That is what this piece of sheet needs ! Apparently you wrote him a ticket at one time or
hopefully arrested him. Keep up the good work.
