my son died a slow death after he was injured in an accident where a passenger was killed and the driver was charged with vehicular homicide and great bodily injury. The driver was sentenced and then the sentence was deferred-when the families weren't witnessing the judges questionable decision.

My Heart goes out to you.
I lost a son to a drunk driver also. May I correct one word in your comment. I like so many others don't believe drunk driving wrecks should be called accidents. Incident(s) I believe is a better word, since there was deliberate action of going to have some alcohol and then not making sure a sober means of leaving was chosen.

It saddens me to say - I know how you feel. I miss my son every day.

And it has to do with a DWI. We all need to come together and make our communities safe. Please, I beg you read the topic of Leo Lucero and also comment. I'am trying to get him off the streets for our children sake's!

What is EW status? What of restitution?
All I know is that EW case was deferred. Does that mean that she is out and about, driving, eating what she pleases and buying what she pleases--where is the restitution.
What schools has she gone to talk about this awful crime and how to avoid killing people?

Wishing for a safe travel everywhere.
Please don't drink and drive.
Memories are nice to have but,
I'd rather still have my lost loved one.
