Loud Rumbling Noise in Aliso Viejo

For the past week or so I and my neighbors have heard a loud boon like rumbling noise. Has anyone else heard this and does anyone know what is causing it?

We hear this noise often. Like a distant thunder or explosion. All research says it has to be training from Camp Pendleton, but we hear it even on days where there is no noise making activity reported on the Camp Pendleton website. My best guess is that they report it only at certain levels but that there is understandably activity every day that causes occasional noise?

This noise has been driving me a tad crazy the past few days. It is almost non-stop! Thanks for the link. I will check if the training at Camp Pendleton is happening today.
