Rich people are still going to be ok now that Obama has been re elected. They have the money to afford expensive gas and pay more for goods and services. They can certainly afford to pay more taxes. One thing for sure is they are not going to hurt themselves. They will certainly use their money to take care of their own first. I know I would. They will simply compensate by downsizing their businesses. They will pull back their investments so their taxes will be smaller. They can cut back on benefits they give their employees to make sure they protect their own families. They are greedy. That's what drove them to get rich. They are not going to sacrifice out of the goodness of their hearts to make sure the middle class and poor are ok. We all know that rich people are evil and greedy. Should we expect them to sacrifice? Can the govt. make them? Probably not because the rich are masters at loopholes to protect their money. So where will the money come from to drive the economy now? Where is the govt going to get the money to pay for social security and health care and other critical govt. assistance programs? Hopefully China will keep lending us money. The people have voted! Obama won! What happens now?

You are one big a-hole. You dint think the wealthy make any sacrifice? I know people who pay hundreds of thousands a year in taxes, plus willingly contribute to charities nd church and such. And you sit and say they are evil and greedy. You must be one of the freebies who just wants to sit around and eat your free food away. The govt can come up with another plan, but the wealthy ( who work hard) shouldn't have to support the freebies any more than they already do.

. You missed my point and made my point at the same time. I was using sarcasm to reiterate what Obama supporters have been saying on here for the last several months. That the evil greedy rich people are responsible for getting the country in this mess. So now we expect them to just step up and become all moral and charitable and bail the country out? I doubt it. They will do what they can to protect their own interests. Your statement that "the government can come up with another plan". is what concerns me more. We are now a nation totally dependent on the government. You sure put a lot of faith in them. We are all going to sacrifice now .

The president doesn't even call the shots. Why does everyone think that the president is making the decisions. He's not. Not at all. There are two other branches of government that make the final decision. It's rare that all three agree on one thing. Obama or Romney, same shit.

How about the "obamacare"? The other to branches did not approve it. However he did anyways. He can do that as president. Sign something into law that the other branches don't want.

Funny, the way some of you are talking I don't think you could actually name the 3 branches. You'd probably say the House, Senate, and President. You'd be wrong!!
I truly fear for our country, and will probably be leaving it soon.

guess you don't what veto means. Also guess we can longer Blame Bush for anything cause now we know he wasn't calling the shots. It was Congress' fault. Thanks guy who is more important than we know for clarifying. One more thing. Since you are not a fan of oil, stop using your computer and cell phone. The components are petroleum based products.

If you truly fear for our country you should do something constructive about the situation instead of abandoning ship. Get involved and be part of the solution not part of the problem.:)

The machinery used to recycle, guess what it's made from. Guess what everything you touch every day almost has some component made of. We will never be able to cut our dependance on oil. The eagleford has enough to sustain us for 80 years. That's just eagleford, but north Dakota and Pennsylvania and Louisiana all have new finds as well.

Got to where they are? What by hard work? An education they PAY for without handouts? Explain this to me....why is it my job as a middle class citizen, who works 40-45 hours a week, provides for my family on my own no government help, why is it MY job to provide for you? Who can't or won't work?

You're an idiot. People were laid off today, thousands. Yes, more jobs would be a plus but wont happen under obama. We were gonna sign a contract on an expensive home today at 12:30 but backed out. The realtor said everyone canceled today except someone who has to relocate. No one is investing for our future. I'm glad you feel so happy, i don't know anyone who feels that today.

You're too stupid to grasp the seriousness of this situation, on here acting like the ghetto loser you are. I have a vagina, but you can suck my d*ck. When you're old and homeless and ask me for change I'll walk away in my $900 shoes laughing. I don't depend on the government because before o is gone so will their money for social security and welfare. It's laughable that this amuses you, you'll be hungry long before i will.
