kfc/taco bell in highland is not dirty, maybe yall came in when they were busy and didnt get a chance to clean up. if you have every worked in fast food and a restaraunt, you would realized that people dont care and throw food all over. its a little hard to clean up constintly after people when they are busy. think about it people. and when you get over whelmed{sp} by how much work you need to get done, and people give you attitude/ yell at you about stupid stuff would you have a smile on your face and be chiper. no but they try. and yes they are "corporate" owned. so yes the prices are different, not their choices. not even the owner who is "not very friendly" decides that. so maybe you should get your facts straight before you open your mouth about things. i bet none of you know anything about it. and honestly if you dont like their food and it "gives you the runs" dont go there. they dont need your business anyway. if any of yall actually worked in fast food you would know how stressful of an environment it is.

Well here is my two cents. While waiting in the drive-thru I got to see my server who handles my food and my debit card chow down on her nails. Seriously, if her hands were not busy they were in her mouth.

I don't have anything against the people who work in fast food restaurants. I've eaten at the Hardee's, McDonalds, DQ, Quizno's, and Pizza Hut in Highland and I've walked away satisfied with my meal and experience. I also understand the difference between a restaurant going through a busy lunch or dinner and a restaurant that is just plain dirty.

What's your connection with the KFC in Highland? Do you work there? Do you know someone who works there? What do you care?

Here is the differnce between a Republican/Conservative and a Democrat/Liberal. When a conservative does not like something he simply chooses not to go there anymore. When a liberal does not like something they demand that it be closed and no one should be able to go there.

No, I am pointing out the fact the nation and socitety as a whole has turned into this nanny state of freeloaders and people who consatantly feel they are the victim.

How about self empowerment for a change? If you had a bad experience, talk to the manager, write a letter to the corporate office! Dont go on the internet and claim that the owners are greedy because they try to make a profit. That is what the American Dream is all about!!!

And Democrats want to take from the workers and give to the non-workers through wealth distribution. Hence my post about how this is a direct example of that.

Flunkies? Do you personally even know any of us at all? Why don't you get your head out of your ass and realize a job is a job. Some of us are full-time students that need some extra cash. Stereotyping us because we work in the fast food industry is the WRONG thing to do. I guarantee over half the people I work with are more educated than you will ever be.

Common courtesy is expected among human beings however, and if your job entails good customer service, then that is what it requires. The pay of the employees, the age of the employees, nor the atmosphere of the establishment should hinder either cleanliness or a genuine interest in the customer. The difference in a fast food restaurant and a finer dining establishment, is the extent of the service, not the quality of service or the expectation of a clean place to eat your food. Truth is what it is.
I too have had poor experiences at this resraurant and refuse now to go.

BAHAHAHAHA! Bad experience at a fast food restaurant so now you wont go??? So i guess you dont go to any of them then because service is not what a fast food restauraunt is based on. FAST AND CHEAP not fine dining.

"Fine" dining includes the quality of food you pay for, the atmosphere of a more subdued nature, and a greater degree of service (being waited on). Knowing the difference between this, and a fast food dining experience, does not negate the responsibility of the latter. Any restaurant is in business, and remains so, solely based on the amount of revenue it is able to take in. If the focus is not on giving the customer the best experience possible (for the "known" expectation) then they will not have as many customers. We have to remember that even a small family can easily drop from 20 to 30 dollars eating fast food. Revenue comes from the customer, so their logical expectations should be met. Those would include courteous customer service appropriate to the dining experience, as well as cleanliness. Sorry you disagree.:)
