I saw something strange in the sky last night. It appeared to be a flaming object (meteor?). I was driving on I-70 last night about 9:00 passing along Pocahantus when looking over to the north of I-70 when I saw it. Can anyone tell me what it was?

I saw it too. I was driving home on 1-15 south,at about 6:00 pm. I always look at the sky hopping to see something beautiful and wonderful and I saw it last night. It seem to be a shooting start but then it "exploded" I saw the red, yellow, orange, almost like fire. It did not last but a few fractions of a second. Then it was gone. In the sky all I could see was a tail of "smoke" or "ice' like the one jets leave in the sky. I wish I could know what ir was.

I was driving north on HWY 101 in northern CA, it was off to the northwest and fallen like a huge "falling star" but big at the base (bowling ball size to the eye) leaving a green and blue trail with a burning red and orange ring around the ball. Definately not a planet, Mars was large last night but this was clearly something breaking through our atsmoshphere...no joke, it was AWESOME!

I saw it too, I live in Longmont Colorado, and it was in the western sky. Strange thing was, it changed direction shortly before exploding.

Guys it was a space shuttle. I heard that it was going to be passing and I brought my boys outside to watch for it. It is orbiting the earth. The first sighting was on Monday and there was another passing last night. It looked like a meteor yes or a very bright and fast moving star, but it was in fact a space shuttle that has been orbiting the earth.

My Wife and I saw something in the ski last night Sept. 28, 2009 about 10:30pm. It looked like it was following a Plane. We could see the plane lights blinking. Behind it, We saw a dim faded light. It looked like rounded wings, or a half circle with only seeing the rounded part vaguely in the dark sky. We looked at it for about 20 seconds and wanted a clearer view and ran to the front yard, to realize it was gone. I have never seen anything like this before, but have seen other objects in the sky in the past.

I was driving north on Hwy 95 about 45 minutes north of Las Vegas (last night, Nov 17, 2009). At about 9:30ish the sky lit up like daylight, and flicker once. It was like DAYLIGHT! I was on the phone talking to a driver who was eastbound on I-80 near the intersection of Hwy 95 and I-80 (Trinity Junction). We both yelled out loud, "Holy %#@$, did you see THAT?". He actually saw a fireball streak across the sky and seemingly disappear behind the mountains, then the HUGE flash occurred. Sounds like a meteor might have made it to the ground, or darned close TO it. As the evening progressed and I heard from more drivers (we're all truck drivers here), many more guys had seen this thing, and from all over the western US. Whatever it was, it was BIG!

Daily Horoscope for December 1

Gemini

Spend the morning recharging your spiritual batteries and prepare for the coming Full Moon in your sign. Listen to your favourite music, surround yourself with your things and let confrontations and business dealings wait until you are ready. The Moon enters Gemini later today, so things will take on a much rosier hue.
