He was always talking about the young girls he knew and I have seen him, in person, hit on young girls before. I have also been told stories by him about a float trip/camping trip where he supposedly slept with another minor.

By the way, from what I understand, which I heard from another friend of yours and Seth's, supposedly she is sixteen, he's 24, it doesn't take a genius to figure out not to do it. I don't care if she started it, get up and leave, it's an overall bad situation. What is a 24 year old doing hanging out with sixteen year olds anyway?

Especially when your father works for the legal/justice system. Yes, I know his father too. I also know Dennis, your father, Kyle. I know many of the same people you do. I'm not hiding, passing judgment. Also, I've been through the legal system in Madison County, from what I have seen, there really isn't corruption, just people doing their jobs.

I believe Seth could do this, but in this case his mother and grandmother can't bail him out. They have always had the attitude that Seth can do no wrong. He's done bad things his whole life and he is finally being held accountable. I know for a fact that he has cousins who live in Carlinville and their mother always kept them away from him as well as the whole family because they are all nuts. Those cousins have both graduated from college and their mother even wrote a book - they are nice people. Lori, you were smart in keeping your kids away from that nutty family - Good Job!!!

it's not only seth but a guy named drew orban is always having underage drinking and dope parties at his trailer. He's been busted once for this but now it seems the police are looking the other way. Being paid off maybe?

btw drew orban is in livingston. I would think Poppenhouse would know all about what goes on over there at his trailer. It's not like the guy doesn't have a criminal record a mile long. Guess we have to wait for a young kid to od or die over there before the cops will do anything.

Wow! This guy sounds like a real dirt bag! I live about an hour away from Staunton, but have some family members that live there & thought i would check out topix. Cahokia has a lot of good drama if your looking for a laugh. Dupo too.
