so, i'm in dearborn, michigan, and i'm hearing the EXACT noise you guys all described. It's driving me insane, and i can't figure it out. i first heard the noise a couple months ago, and it was extremely loud. it is comparable to waves crashing on shore, in it's repetition, and sort of cycling effect. i just want to know what it is!

yea we were sitting around and about 1am a loud almost like a rumble started it continued as we talked for about 5 minutes. havent heard anything since, geesh wonder what top secrets mission is on now 112309

I am in NE Tacoma and I just heard the noise again today Dec 13th. Around 3:25ish. It started and stopped suddenly. Very strange!

Yep, I'm in Northeast Tacoma also...heard the same noise again...just like you described. I swear it's too loud to be coming from the Port. |
