My friends, only losers and wannabes visit Starbucks, when the first started out it was worth the extra money, but they have cut back service and quality so much, even the lowly Dunkin Donuts has better coffee.

Ditto! I've never liked Starbucks.

I've never been able to understand how or why anyone would think that a cup of burnt and bitter tasting coffee is such a great thing? It must the steep price tag attached to it...

Maybe they'll close than four stores in New Mexico.

As per Ch13's website and news last night:

* Wyoming and Menaul, Albuquerque
* Highway 550 and Highway 64, Bloomfield
* North Main and Temple, Las Cruces
* North Main near Wal-Mart, Roswell

The stores will close by the end of March, but the company hasn't yet announced a more specific time.

Bloomfield's Starbucks wasn't even open 2 years and they built it new too. I guess the oilfield guys couldn't or wouldn't put their money there.

Funny thing is that people won't complain about their obscene profits. Roughly an 80% markup on their product!
