Do not trust this store with watch repairs. I went in with a simple watch band problem and was told it would cost $8.00 and take 20 minutes to repair. I returned to pick up a mutilated watch band and the shop person refused to admit that she had damaged my watch although it was obvious what she had done. Now it's going to cost me more to have the damage they caused to my watch repaired.

Where do I start with this horrendous business? I am shocked that there are so many positive reviews of this place.

The battery in my watch died, so after trying CVS, i went to East Bay to purchase the battery. They claim to have told me that they do not offer returns on batteries, but nowhere does it say this on the receipt. So I tried to install the battery, but with no luck so i went back to East Bay hoping they could assist me in some way. Well the young girl (early 20's) working there said she couldn't help me at all since she would "lose business" if she tried to help every customer. I asked her, since I had just paid $8 for a battery, if she could at least explain how to "short" the battery. She didn't have a clue what that meant, even though she said she was the one who fixed watches (total BS.) I asked why she could just explain it to me, and she said, and I quote, "Because no one is nice in this country." At this point I was fuming, I couldn't believe she wouldn't help me at all. I then asked for a refund, but she would only give me store credit. YEAH RIGHT! i will never ever go to east bay again and I hope no one else does. If i didn't have a life, I would picket outside the store and stop people from making the mistake of buying from them.

How can people complain i have been a customer for five years since I've moved from New york, they do a great job the people that work there are very kind and helpful. The prices are real good compared to other places that i have been to in Northern VA. Def recommend East Bay watches to others.

i am the regular customer for East Bay watches. And there is written in the business policy right infront that the repaired watches are final ( they donot do refunds on repaired watches). I donot want to blame some business for no reason. Regardng CVS, they have always cheap things, which may be not the good quality. But what i like about East bay watches is that they provide 1 year warranty for their battery. And also the people working there are very friendly, helpful and have patience.

I had a old watch, and i waned to do repair on the clasp, which was not working. But the clasp broke as it was really old. And the lady working there apolosized and sent to special repair place, and the work was done nicely in a week without any cost. The people working there are very helpfun to the customer.

I am the regular customer for East Bay Watches from last 3 years since i moved to Arlington. I and my family always would like to go there. they are great customer service. And have great watches with good deals. They are very flexible with the customers, providing all kind of repair services and the patience in helping the customers. Eventhough its not a big organization, but they are established there for so long due to their service and the products.

The lady working there has very good patience to deal with customers. I changed battery for few of my and my husband's watches there. My husband has got Omega, Swiss Army and Raymond Well watches. She did a great job for very good price. Before going there, I tried few places, but the prices for batteries in other places ( ESP for Swiss watches) are very high. East Bay watches is my regular store to go from now on for watches. And they do repair on watches too by specialist. Also, shop has good collection of watches and the lady gives good discount. So, I highly recommend anyone to go there for wAtch services. I already gave few business cards from East Bay Watches to my friends. The store doesn't have too many advertisements and banners outside but they do honest and good job. I disagree with the negative reviews for this store. Highly recommended!!
