Bay Country lawns in Sterling VA was bought out by Trugreen in 2007.
They fail to tell people who runs and owns this business.
Bay Country Lawns says they use an organic product, its organic BASED. Based and being 100% are two differant things.
This Company lies period!

We all know that TRUGREEN/chemlawn are doing nothing but poisoning OUR planet. They hire inexperienced workers that could careless or know how to do their job correctly.

After researching servicemaster I ask everyone to BOYCOTT any of their businesses.
The lawsuits against this Company are DISGRACEFUL.

BOYCOTT Bay Country Lawns just for the fact they misrepresented themselves. One lie will lead to another.

Help save our Planet.

What they fail to tell people is who owns this branch. Why because people hate TRUGREEN.

What they are basing their sales on is that they use organic products.

Sales people are trained to lie, at all costs avoid our affilation with trugreen.

Bay Country lawns says they're organic, its organic based a far cry from being 100%, its percentage of that organic base is about 20%.

Could someone please tell me how grub Killer of any kind is organic?

Grub killer not only KILLS grubs but any other living creatures in ground or on the lawn.

This includes fireflies that are becoming extinct because of lawn products/chemicals.

Most of their customers are concerned with the environment, and not poisoning their children or pets.

The other 80% WILL harm everyone of their concerns.

I found comments on another site which got me very concerned that people were saying TRUGREEN is organic...This was my comment/reply.

As for TRUGREEN/chemlawn organic who told anyone that great big lie?

It has about 10% organic based product, so how could one being selling on that bases saying its organic.

Would you buy organic meat that's 10% organic? Wouldnt you ask yourself whats the other 80%?

The person I get all this information from is in the process of getting another job, in another field NOT poisoning this planet.

Lying to people is not what we are about.

FYI the land I live on has NEVER had chemicals poured on it, I get to enjoy thousands of fireflies and many butterflies.

Help save this planet BOYCOTT all lawn chemicals.

After reading all the above websites, what this person speaks is the truth.

I don't know whats worse Trugreen or terminix. Trugreen poisons the earth and Terminix killed people.
With the amount of lawsuits against this company, I'm clueless on how they are still ALLOWED to be in business.
There are entire states like WA CT NJ that have and are suing them.

In my opinion Servicemaster is a reckless company and should not be allowed to conduct business in the manner they are now.

That's a lot of reading, beyond what I thought.
How and why is servicemaster still in business?
This is all very shady and really sounds corrupt.
They've ruined many peoples lives, employees and customers. Unbelievable.

You have been proven wrong. Pay attention to the EPA annual report on the lawn care industry. The statistics don't lie, unlike you.

The State is seeking restitution for customers and civil penalties. It alleges TruGreen:

Provided lawn treatment applications not authorized by consumers;
Renewed agreements for applications without the consumer's knowledge or consent;
Billed consumers for unauthorized applications;
Charged consumers for applications that were advertised or represented as being free;
Quoted a price above the company's regular price and then offered a "discount price" that in fact was equal to the company's regular price;
Sent to collection agencies the accounts of consumers who received unauthorized treatment applications or unauthorized service renewals;
Failed to suspend collection efforts after being informed by a consumer that a bill was unjustified;
Failed to honor consumers' requests to cancel treatment applications;
Failed to respond to consumer complaints and inquiries;
Misrepresented the actual price of treatment applications;
Failed to notify customers of scheduled application dates as promised; and
Failed to honor consumers' requests for credits or refunds for unauthorized applications as promised.
In related news, TruGreen sister company Terminix settled with the NJ attorney general for $81,900 to settle a similar suit in March.The NJDCA brought the Terminix suit in response to 31 consumer complaints about that company's business practices. Besides paying the fine, Terminix agreed to change the wording in its contracts about the company's obligation to repair damage from termites after service has been performed and to change its method of resolving consumer complaints.

The desire for the perfect lawn is leading millions of homeowners to expose their children, pets and water supplies to toxic lawn care pesticides.

Children are at Risk: Research links the pesticides used by TruGreen ChemLawn to nausea, vomiting, dizziness and headaches and chronic illnesses such as lymphoma, leukemia, bladder cancer, and learning disabilities. Children are especially vulnerable to toxic pesticides.
Workers are Exposed: Pesticide applicators and the workers who launder their uniforms suffer the negative health effects of daily exposure to toxic pesticides.
Pets are Vulnerable: Your pet has an increased risk of cancer when exposed to lawn pesticides.
Our Environment is Being Poisoned: Pesticides can contaminate drinking water and can harm or kill birds, fish, and other beneficial wildlife.
TruGreen ChemLawn is the number one lawn care provider in the United States, servicing more than 3.5 million households. While any pesticide legally used in this country must be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), this registration does not ensure safety. The registration process is full of loopholes and does not guarantee that the pesticides have been fully tested for environmental and human health effects. In fact, an analysis of the products TruGreen ChemLawn offers on their customer receipt shows that:

17 of 32 (53%) of TruGreen ChemLawn's pesticide products include ingredients that are likely carcinogens, as defined by the EPA and the International Agency for Research on Cancer.
All 32 of TruGreen ChemLawn's pesticide products include ingredients that pose threats to the environment, including: threats to water supplies, aquatic organisms, and non-targeted insects.
13 of 32 (41%) of TruGreen ChemLawn's pesticide products include ingredients that are banned or restricted in other countries.

I want to share with you a very deep concern I have about Misrepresented. Instead of focusing on why Misrepresented's views are a malignant, inconsiderate orgy of sensationalism, I would like to remind people that Misrepresented's cold, analytical approach to Lysenkoism doesn't take into account the human element. In particular, those who have been hurt by Lysenkoism know that the core of this seemingly insoluble problem is the fact that one thing that Misrepresented does well is make my stomach turn. Do I blame society for this? No, I blame Misrepresented.

The worst kinds of slaphappy, empty-headed cheapjacks there are serve as the priests in Misrepresented's cult of intolerant, incomprehensible revisionism. These "priests" spend their days basking in Misrepresented's reflected glory, pausing only when Misrepresented instructs them to attack the very fabric of this nation. What could be more meddlesome? That's the question that perplexes me the most because he sometimes has trouble convincing people that I'm some sort of cully who can be duped into believing that public opinion is a reliable indicator of what's true and what isn't. When he has such trouble, he usually trots out a few feckless mindless-types to constate authoritatively that Misrepresented is the way, the truth, and the light. Whether or not that trick of his works, it's still the case that Misrepresented has long wanted to prevent anyone from stating publicly that he uses the word "literally" when he means "metaphorically". Why do I bring that up? Because by studying his repression of ideas in its extreme, unambiguous form one may more clearly understand why many people have witnessed Misrepresented undermine serious institutional and economic analyses and replace them with a diverting soap opera of beastly, whiney conspiracies. Misrepresented generally insists that his witnesses are mistaken and blames his self-serving plans for the future on the worst sorts of oligophrenic wiseacres I've ever seen. It's like he has no-fault insurance against personal responsibility. What's more, Misrepresented claims that he is a paragon of morality and wisdom. That claim illustrates a serious reasoning fallacy, one that is pandemic in his ideologies. Then again, I like to say that the online disinhibition effect perfectly explains why Misrepresented is so keen to tell everyone that incendiarism provides an easy escape from a life of frustration, unhappiness, desperation, depression, and loneliness. Misrepresented never directly acknowledges such truisms but instead tries to turn them around to make it sound like I'm saying that he is known for his sound judgment, unerring foresight, and sagacious adaptation of means to ends. I guess that version better fits his style—or should I say, "agenda"? I would like to end on a heartfelt note. Misrepresented's not averse to giving rise to lethargic wimps.

I worked for trugreen till last week. There firing and laying off everyone.
I heard that the prodution people will be doing MY sales job now.
I sold over $600k and of course let go before i am eligable to recieve the bonus i earned. I find this unfair after the stress and the constant pushing for more sales. I give them more and they gave me nothing. This Company made big profits this year, no excuse for what they are doing.
So if the production techs have to do sales now, they are lying to all the sales people, there is going to be no sales jobs to return to.
I was offered to move to TX, where people make less money. Calling people in this area for sales from TX makes no sense.
Trugreen once again has shown there true colors, greedy liars.
