UNITED STATES prosecutors have drawn up secret charges against the WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange,

I want his pale skinny ass in a bright orange jumpsuit chained to a waterboard with battery cables clamped to his balls in a goddamn Guantanamo cage.

Then put his treasonous ass on trial, convict him and put him before a firing squad. Send his ashes back to his antiamerican nation.

Stick a sock in it Humbug!....Assange is no more guilty of espionage than Obam-ma...And the fact that the Americans would go as far as to conspire with Sweden shows you what kind of sleazy dealings these government nincompoops do behind closed doors.
America have no right to charge him with anything save reporting the truth...do you think the rest of the world is as stupid and naive as you about your country.(America)
I would like to see Assange take both their arses to the tribunal for human rights to explain their ongoing persecution of him and his company. America has(once again) overstepped their authority by coercing Paypal and the others to stop his and his companies funds (with no evidence of a wrongdoing), this alone in any decent human terms is a violation of his and their rights...and now this.
America land of Liberty "my arse". The world is knows how America plays war and politics, and the damage they have instigated in the world, for power and oil.
To get information out to people about underhanded goings on will always be the right thing to do, unless you are the American government that is. America is fast becoming a land of sensorship, suppression of honesty and human rights.
Be very careful Humbug, you could be living in the next communist Russia, you already have the CIA, who behave exactly like the old KGB.

Way to go, Ahomana! It's coming out now through wikileaks that there was some extensive voter fraud in Pennsylvania and Ohio during the McCain/Obama election. The information was McCain was aware of it and was advised to contest the results, but McCain declined in the best interests of the country. He feared riots after a perceived election fix against a black man. Where was our press and media?

The general media is hiding behind what your government dictates as are ours, so it takes an act of incredible strength to go against the government and their control of what is printed...
I support all those who think reporting truthful information is more important than their pay check or promotion, some(Assange and wikileaks) have gone to great lengths to achieve their goal simply to make us more aware by keeping us informed about the actions and words of our underhanded governments the things they conspire behind our backs.
When you refuse to buy into the general media, they die, but they will not be missed, there are good guys out there....

What you are seeingis the face of an honest man(this is obviously new to you?)....someone who didn't need a bomb or a gun to make your government accountable, he uses their own words and actions and failures and aims them back at them...
Why are they so terrified of one honest man with a computer? Because he shows them up for what they are, and not just to their country but to the world.

China owns us. Humbert supports a president that is running us into a deep abyss of debt that will take generations to pay [back to China].

Yes, but you've calmed down now, Mr Humbert.

We Americans have just go to secure our information better + get the trial right for actual US trooper responsible - the source/traitor/leaker: Bradley Manning. HE, a US soldier should be making you angry, although he looks like a harmless Harry Potter geek.

Might admit though, it was great reading Kevin Rudd's wikileaks on his adverse feelings towards China. Great reading derogatory notes on Putin/Medvedev. Also great to read the Saudi King squealing for USA to attack Iran. Great to hear King Saud squirming. The true colors are shown.

Interesting news about the 2008 US election, Teaman.

Obama has been a huge failure, unfortunately. Not only domestically. It doesn't matter if one is a Republican supporter, I wanted Obama to succeed. It didn't happen. He also makes us look weak in the Middle East, and timid to China. Apart from all this, he's a charismatic, likeable guy. Thus, the clueless will probably ensure we get another 4 years of the same.

I agree, Obama is likable but a failure. Dangerous combination. We have a rock star in a job that is way over his head. As you say, no one likes to see the nation fail no matter who is president. I think you're right about projecting a weakness. And, considering who the candidates are and the media propaganda, I think you are right about the clueless re-electing him.

I don't really support either party. They are not much different to me, thus the Rhino on the avatar. I'm pretty much Libertarian or a constitutionalist. I seem to be always voting against the most left wing person.

I would rather have a rock star up there than a redneck Christian radical fundamentalist there seems to be no happy medium, none of those running for President are sane or normal in the true sense. it bothers me that in America like Australia religion has to much say in the political arena.... this can lead a country to revert to archaic and bigoted practices of suppression and oppression and while I am not that fussed on "Obama" like us, it's slim pickin's this time round to find a President or PM that works in the best interest of it's people or it's country.
It is like all these countries and governments are melding into one thought, one might, one idea and one ruler.
