Many of the negative comments toward legalization, come from the folks who have little, or no experience with marijuana.
I was dissapointed that KSAX, ONLY read the negative comments about this topic, not supprised tho!
Ignorance is Bliss.
I am proud that the folks who have Exp, and know, are finally standing up. It IS time for our communities, to have a fair and educated look from all sides.
I would hope KSAX would allow that.

because, folks who smoke are going to regaurdless if its legal or not. if legalized, the gov/states would obviously have laws and restrictions.

this would help to eliminate the "black market" drug dealers who get people hurt.

but since you obviously had no idea about the bigger picture. I couldnt blame you for a "mindless" opinion.

I think if your going to interview people on this issue....you should talk to people who have some sort of clue as to what there talking about. I mean really.... marijuana has helped a lot of people deal with pain from diseases that are terminal. and she (Milisa) thinks the legalization of meth would follow....that has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever heard

Its a complete waste of resources that does nothing to curb actual drug usage. If you want to curb drug usage you need to invest in drug education. And by drug education I don't mean fear mongering propaganda that kids can detect in two sentences.

As far as Marijuana, I don't understand what the big deal is. Most legal drugs are infinitely more dangerous.

Consenting adults deserve the right to make their own health choices. I do not support nannyism that accomplishes nothing but create more taxes for us.

I have smoked Marijuana a few times and it doesn't come close to the intoxicating effects alcohol does.

As far as other drugs becoming illegal, that's not going to happen. People have been pushing for Marijuana to be legal for over 40 years and it has a much, much larger user base than any of the dangerous drugs.

If it's taken Marijuana this long to be considered what makes any sensible person think Crack Legalization is right around the corner? Its not going to happen and if it ever did, I bet we would have something in place far more effective than the black market at regulation and control.

I'm really worried if 55% of the public is still against Marijuana legalization despite all the studies and statistics out there.

Are we just going to continue giving blank checks to the government as they pocket Big Pharma money, Wall Street Bribes and Big Oil gifts?

Its time to get real.

Its both. Medical Marijuana is a no brainer. Compare Medical Marijuana to any prescription drug out there. Its safer than all of them and a lot cheaper. Some people even have allergies that prevent using synthetic drugs. Plus, look at all the recalls with prescription drugs. Who tests them and makes sure they are safe? Vioxxx killed thousands of people before it was recalled.

Marijuana has been used for thousands of years and has never caused anyone to OD and die.

As far as recreational usage, how can we have alcohol and tobacco be legal when Marijuana is illegal and much safer?

Life is too short to tell others how to live. If they are being responsible, I see no reason they shouldn't be permitted to use them.

Its like guns. They are designed to kill people and kill thousands a year, but if you are a responsible adult, why shouldn't you have the right to have one?

Exactly. Half the articles I read are from people that have no first hand knowledge of the subject. We don't get health advice from tobacco companies and we don't get financial advice from thieves.

So why do we continue to get Marijuana Journalism that's bought and paid for by the DEA and Pharmaceutical Industry as well as conservatives that believe in faith based healing despite the science that shows it doesn't work?

I know, its amazing that we have to continue to spell it out for them. Its all about the money and the ignorant continue to vote against their own interests, yet their the ones that call us stupid potheads.

This Stupid Pothead worked his way through a very demanding Bachelor's Degree and has suffered more harm from the lax financial regulations that have contributed to this economy than vaporizing a plant that wears off in two hours.
