when you see your friends divorce, lose their homes, and basically lose their minds; all for min wage ...i don't think the loss is worth it.no one can live on min wage.

People are going to Marksville anyway if they want to gamble their money away. Highways 1 and 107 are dark, dangerous roads that people drive on after they've been drinking. If people are already inclined to gamble, better to keep them closer to home in Grant Parish. We do need the jobs. Even if it's minimum wage, it's still better than working in Walmart or outdoors.

All I want to know is will there be good food to eat. Screw a bunch of donating money to Indians. To all you gambler, how do you think they keep those doors open if gamblers did not lose. They are in business to make money. Keep a ledger starting today of all you spend gambling, your losses and winnings. In a year, see who the real winner is, net winnings, after losses.

That's like saying everybody should get sick so there'll be more doctors.
Casino employees live off the losses of foolish gamblers.
Every single gambling method in a casino guarantees the casino a profit. It's foolish to bet against the house.
Eventually folks lose too much money, children suffer, families break up and the casino lays off employees.
Anybody wanna guess how many people in Marksville would be affected if people wised up and quit gambling?
It's a castle built of sand.

Its going to be great! I gamble I win I lose Its my decision what i do with my money, its just like a liqour or cigarrete store nobodys forcing u to go in. Grant Parish needs something goin for it, it needs to support class III gaming for the tax dollars. No Class III no tax money.

gambling is voluntary! If you don't want to gamble stay out of casinos! Don't try to control what others want to do!!! Life is all about choices and its a individuals right to choose what he would like to do for entertainment not yours!! Once again if your against gambling stay away from casinos!!!!
