Bryant council addresses fire compaint

A complaint filed by a resident against Bryant Fire Chief Randy Cox and his department was addressed by Alderman Steve Gladden and others at Monday night's Bryant City Council meeting.

I have absolutely no trust in Randy Cox as fire chief. Any man that would steal from orphans and widows the way he did with the money that was collected after 911 is dishonest and can not be trusted!!

Those charges were dismissed and unfounded! Why bring up something like that and to top it off, you do not live in our city
I think you need to come out to the department and see our Chief in action. He works his butt off!

I also live in Bryant:
I was stunned at the lack of common sense used by the fire chief in the decision to allow the Bryant AR fire truck to roll through local subdivisions saturday morning (sirens blairing away)leading a procesion of cars advirtising a vacation Bible camp!! Talk about a cry wolf syndrome, It put the entire neighbourhood on high alert since they were only moving about 5mph.I hope they NEVER pull a stunt like that again
