Jamison is a cancer on this church and needs to be removed immediately. This is the church where I grew up, and if I were there, I would do everything I could to make sure that the locks were changed and that he got a police escort out of the door.

If he is defrocked, then he needs to step down. His work for his congregation is ruined. And telling people to support him, love him, etc, is really outlandish in my book. He has clearly demonstrated his lack of decency with his congregation, his lack of concern towards the children, and specifically to his duty to God. Time for him to move on.

One ordained minister's own opinion.

Why doesn't the church call the police and try to get a restraining order? If his conduct was bad enough to get him defrocked then I would assume the sexual misconduct would be enough to file harassment charges.

I lived through similar circumstances in the church I grew up in. The pastor was confronted by things he had done that severely violated not only the church charter, but the Bible, including knowing that I was assaulted by an inmate he was "counseling", and that the man had made advances toward several girls in the youth group he was allowed to lead, and telling them he "wasn't interested in hearing it".

When he was confronted by members, he mocked them from the pulpit, lied to other members saying they "just wanted to destroy the church", and then actually took the church and broke the charter they had with the overseeing ministry. He now runs his "own" church in the building, with maybe dozen members, and pays himself and his family members for "ministries" that don't appear to exist. How this is legal, I do not understand still. It's taken a long time to grow past it, and to keep faith despite those circumstances.

Did Jesus get paid $80,000.00 a year to preach a message which deemed by God is free?
The man does not want to leave his income.
It's about money.
Why are the Patrons still there??????..

This padre makes $80K a year part-time, has performed multiple acts of perverted sexual misconduct, is totally arrogant (doesn't show up for an interview, says "people are Stingy with their padres")and refuses to leave the pulpit? What is with these Sheeple in his "flock"? Are thet complete non-thinking automatons? Only in religion can one read such farcical and unbelievable articles as this one. People had better get real regarding these hundreds of padres across America who are pulling such stunts or else just keep throwing your dollars to these jackasses.

First, get a restraining order that is designed to prevent this man from coming within 200 feet of the church. Then if this man lives in a house/apartment supplied by the church, get an attorney to do an unlawful detainer which is an eviction to get this evil man out. He is destroying this church and the congregation with it. This man is a predator and he could be prosecuted for the sexual contact with the women. He was acting under the color of authority, the position he held in the church when he had sex with these women. Give him two choices: Move on, or be prosecuted for sexual crimes against these women. Fear of not pleasing a minister is the weapon that this predator used to rape these women. This was not consensual sex, this was rape.

I was on the board of a Unity church years ago that had a similar situation, except that the association refused to defrock the pastor despite pages and pages of documented evidence of his moral and ethical transgression...for which he was completely unrepentant. I'm now with UCC, and it's good to see that this individual, who IMHO as a behavioral scientist is unfit as well, defrocked him justly. The moderator (president) of their Board of Deacons needs to take the reins and do what is necessary to send him on his way.

And (if I may state for your consideration) one final point - Why isn't this padre Arrested for alledged sexual assault? Right now? Why?

Just what is going on here? If this person was not associated with a religion he would be arrested. Does his "Collar" prevent him from being arrested and scheduled for a legal hearing?

Why is this padre not being arrested?

What a piece of garbage this guy is. All he's concerned about is the money, and this guy is a preacher. Another shining example of why a lot of people who claim to be "good Christians" are hypocrites.

As an ex-catholic, the Catholics could learn a thing or two from the UCC. The local church and the UCC needs to follow the law, get restraining orders, be vigilent incase this gets violent but I am so proud that they are dealing with it by de-frocking him so he cannot go elsewhere. Yes, it is messy and and has many different interpretations but they did not shift him around, pay off a victim etc. Hold your head up UCC!

This is a prime example why the book of Timothy and Titus was written. I would not even want to be near his shoes when that pit opens up and swallow him. The lake of fire awaits for him!

This is why organized religion is bad. There is no need for an earthly, centralized headquarters. All donations stay with the congregation that gave them. Individual churches hire and support their minister. Have a problem with him? Fire him. Don't pay him. No need for a "board" or any other group to decide the fate of your church. It's how the early church worked.

This is the same Pastor/church where the deacon pulls a knife on another deacon and the Rev. Alexander Jamison does nothing. This man has a complete disregard of the Word of God.
There must be some in this congragation that no longer nurse on milk but feed from the Word of God?
Get off your spiritually dead butts and oust this man before he opens the doors of hell on your whole church! You have every right to submit to God first and get rid of the bad authority over you.

The Bible says to put your trust in no man. It seems to me that too many people trusted this man and believed every word that he said in the pulpit as well as out of the pulpit. The only thing that will get him out is WARFARE PRAYER! Calling the police will do you no good because he can sue the church even in the current position that he is in.

Only the Lord himself can remove this man and others that stand along with him if not it will continue on and fester with someone else in years to come.

Prayer is the Key to this Spiritual Warfare!
