I bought a truck from clay cooley, and i found out that it had been wrecked without reporting it too car fax. however, i was able too trade it off and get another truck from a dealer ship, thank god for that. But when it was time to get back my extended warranty money, i got the run around for over three months and a bunch of back and forth lies from clay Cooley about my check being in the mail. These people are crooks. they don't do right by people.I then ask if i could speak with the head persons. I was then denied and told if i come up there the cops would be called on me and that i would be es-courted off the premises. I will not ever buy from them again. Nor will i ever recommend any one too buy a car from the likes of any clay Cooley dealer ship again.

Did you stop to think that the elderly woman you helped to rip off could have been your mother or grandmother? Clay Cooley didn't make you do that - in this life we make choices and when we go to bed at night we have to ask ourselves if we've made the type of choices that will be pleasing to God and choices that we can live with - hopefully you have learned some lessons because you could have said I AM BETTER THAN THIS AND TRUST GOD TO PROVIDE A BETTER JOB FOR YOU.
Been there done that GOD WORKS!
I so totally agree. We were given free will and YOU make choices and hopefully learn from your choices both good and bad. I was thinking of buying a car from them, but after reading these comments, I won't. P. S. For ppl asking about his military. Why bash Mr. McBride about military? He never said he was in military.

I have been ripped off by clay cooley and his lynchmob.

Pros - they did sell me a car

Cons - they didnt disclose any details of the financing. My fault though for not reading the 200000 word contract closer.

They told me I could trade my car in after a year of financing it clean for a newer car.(i have a witness to that dialogue) A year later the sales manager told me I was lied to in order to sell a car.(i have a witness to that too)

They told me they have a lot of cars I could qualify for and to come on down... they showed me 5 horrible cars to choose from and said thats my options. I was a bit desperate and chose a car. Very bad decision I made.

They tried to sell me a subaru after I was told I was lied to, but that id need 5k to get it... then 4k when i said no... then 3k when i said no... then 2k and I said no... I finally had to say " i'll take my keys back." and left.

Theres a lot more to my story, but if I can advise anyone... RUN LIKE HELL FROM CLAY! Should have known that he cant be trusted, he looks too much like Rick Perry!

Beware of Clay Cooley! I was a salesman for the Fort Worth Store for 3 Weeks. When I started there I was optomistic about the opportunity. Since I have discovered how they steal from people. Whether you have poor credit or not. Every customer that I have sold a car to since Ive been there never knew what they were buying the car for. I was specifically instructed to not disclose price, interest rates or even if the customer had been approved. In the most recent case I helped them take advantage of an elderly woman on a fixed income. We sold her a 2006 Ford Taurus with over 44,000 miles when she had a 2007 Ford Focus with only 15,000 miles. We lowered her payment by $28 dollars and talked her into not trading in her car and letting the bank repo it instead. She came to us for help and I helped my management team and Clay Cooley Isuzu of Fort Worth take advantage of her. Clay Cooley Isuzu of Fort Worth does not look out for their customers best interest. In another instance they told an elderly woman that she was co-signing for her grandson. Her grandson wasnt on the deal. When the lender called and asked the grandmother who the car was for she said her grandson, which was true, so the lender didnt fund the deal. They got the ealderly woman to come back in and My Managers specifically, and blatantly asked the elderly woman to lie to the bank and say she doesnt even have a grandson. She refused so Clay Cooley Repo'd the car. I know what is right and wrong. Clay Cooley not only cheat their customers they also steal from their employees. They have a long running history of stealing from their commissioned employees. I am begging for someone to investigate this shady organization and expose it for what it is. My email address is [email protected] if you have any other questions.

I don't know exactly what you're talking about, Cash. I went to Clay Cooley Chevrolet with awful credit and they were able to put me in something when no one else would. Even when I did the math on everything, I didn't get screwed by the dealership. If anything, it was the bank that screwed me. I was mad for a while and then I realized that it wasn't the banks fault either. I put myself in the situation I was in. I screwed myself. The dealership actually gave me a great deal. Not only that, but the salesman treated me like a friend. He actually took me to lunch while we were waiting for information. He kept in touch after I had bought the vehicle to make sure that everything was going great with it. I have NEVER had a better experience with ANY dealership. I'm not sure what they are doing in Ft. Worth, but there at Chevrolet, i had a GREAT experience.

Beware. Cooley committed fraud. He's been getting away with falsifying info to get low income families into cars knowing these families cannot afford the payments. So, he repoes and resells for a profit, leaving those poor families with out transportation and ruining their credit. After Cooley took back that car, I was fortunate to get my car back when I found out Cooley had falsified all the information on the credit application. I thought enough to contact his bank and obtain a copy of the report from them. When I rec'd that report, I was fit to be tied. Cooley Nissan had falsified all the info. The original, which I had wriiten in long hand had been completely re-done, that's how I was approved. Clay Cooley is a crook and I tell every one I see, stay away from Clay Cooley. I'm thankful I was able to get my car back.
