I cannot authenticate the J.J. Shubert and Frances Alda drama at 514 Alda Road. This story is highly unlikely - The 514 property belonged to the Shubert estate which was sold to a private owner in 1958. The interior of the house was probably renovated by Theoni Aldredge, a very famous costume designer, when she and her husband, Tom Aldredge (a famous actor) purchased the house. This house is not for an opera singer - Shubert and Alda are juxtaposed.

Actually it is likely. The story has been verified by several residence of the household before the current owner.
