Happy Tails Pet Grooming

We have yet to close this facility located at ebenezer road!! Another fine citizen victimized by a corupt and evil business owner. Another family dropped their beloved pet off to be groomed and arrived back later on Saturday the 12th of january to discover their pet had actually died!! This is the 4th incident within the last year to occur at this same facility!!

Yes.... my best friend had their dog groomed their and they cut the dogs eye lid. Happy Tails without contacting my friend took the dog over to his father-in-laws vet clinic and used super glue to fix the eye lid, they managed during this to glue the poor dogs eye shut and this required surgey and many vet bills. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!

These people should be sued in small claims court for this crap....And, I'd do word of mouth over and over again to anyone that would listen for folks to know there are apparently idiots running this place.

We had a similar experience with this place. We picked up our dog after waiting for nearly one hour. After getting the dog home we discovered he had three staples in his leg. We were never told about any problem with our dog and when I went back to talk to the owner about it, he first said he thought we already knew about the staples, then said that it was a miscommunication. Seems more like a lack of communication to me. He also indicated that staples were "not a big deal." He finally gave a half-hearted totally insincere apology, but never really explained how or why it happened. Needless to say, we have taken our business elsewhere. I'm just sorry that others have had similar bad experiences.

It's not rocket science to groom a dog.. these people must be 'tards and have low I.Q.'s...

We are the owners who took our beloved pet to this facility to be groomed and ended up with a tragic ending (his life)! All we know is that he went to this facility healthy and happy and ended up dead. We loved him like our child, he was our child. To all who reads this, make sure you do a through investigation of whatever facility you decide to take your pet to. I wished we had a thousand times over. I will "never" recommend this facility to anyone. We would like to hear from anyone else who has had any bad experiences with them. Thank you! Keep us in your prayers, please.

oh my this is just awful my thought and prayers are with each family who has been affected by this.my family we use the spa in jefferson city and they are so so great.could not even imagine how i would handle picking up our babys having them hurt or even worse dead that just uncalled for i hope this place gets investgated and closed down for good.

Happy Tails has groomed and boarded my dogs since they opened their doors. I have had 2 dogs die at vet hospitals here in Knoxille...one got out of fence and got hit by a car...they actually still charged me for the boarding!! and one was given the wrong vaccines and it died. I have never had anything but wonderful experiences with Happy Tails. The couple that owns the place are Christians and work very hard to ensure the safety and happiness of the animals in their care. My children got bitten in day care but it didn't make the news. My sons ear got cut half the time when he got haircuts as a little boy. Why would it make this business "evil" if it happened while getting a groom? If a dog gets cut at a groomer it's the top story. If you don't know the people, please know that their is always more to a story.

Were not talking about haircuts or children getting bit by other children. Were talking about a dog that DIED! Not from age or a disease, from negligence. Did anyone read the posting from the actual parents?? It's obvious they've lost a member of their family. Luvmydog should be ashamed of comparing a bite from a child at daycare to the death of their dog. Oh, one more thing...what does their religon have to do with the story?? WATE has they story by the way!
