Sure thing...like my new photo???<quoted text>
Would it be legal to put a picture with his full name and case number on the flyer? DO you have any suggestion on how to get his picture? This guy thinks he is real slick and his past will just disapear by moving around.

They know...and the girlfriend knows. I know for a fact that they didn't have to bother looking up any of the information...all they had to do is open their e-mail. They've known for over a week. Management has said that they weren't willing to disclose their hiring practices, and if he was honest about his record. A story will be forthcoming, trust me. |

You're right, of course, but OhMyMy could have left out the "Stop whining" comment. Even the strongest of people are thrown off balance by violent attacks, and criticizing their reactions is both useless and unkind. We all have a tendency to expect others to handle situations the same way that we would, forgetting that we are all at different stages and levels of development. Passing judgment on the way that others react to adversity is also unkind as well as foolish. |

Also agreed. I would have probably left out the stop whining comment as well, but as you say, people react differently. She's "good people," so I'm sure she'll respond. |
|
I think I will call this Jeff Norris this morning. Spunky, did you ever get a response from him?

1 Mellaman Take a look back in this thread, he has not done his time for this crime. Boneheads like you are the reason people like this feel like they are above the law. He is supposed to be serving his time right now, but he is not. I agree he should be working, but not at a place where there are women and children. |

Ive met the guy.He seams nice to me.But what should expect from a bunch of rednecks like you?So much for the bible belt.If I had a wife and a child,I would let him around them.

Sure didn't. That's why I said it appears the "good old boys network" is alive and well at the Rush! |

1 You do that then. Because he was convicted of brutalizing his former wife in FRONT of his children. If you've got no problem with your kids and your wife going thru it, then go for it. I've met Cobbins, Davidson, Thomas, Boyd and Coleman, too, and every one of them seemed nice...although they were shackled hand and feet and wearing bullet proof vests at the time. Nice doesn't mean ANYTHING. Ted Bundy was one of the nicest guys on the planet...most sociopaths are...until you pi$$ them off. Good luck to your wife and kids, though...I'm sure they'd be happy to know you'd be willing to let them spend time with a convicted rapist. |

I don't have a problem with him working and earning an income, anyone else her have a problem with that? What we DO have a problem with is the fact that he's a convicted SEX OFFENDER, who is supposed to be, by law and the courts that convicted him, registered in this state as a sex offender. It's no longer HIS CHOICE who he tells about his felony conviction, but LAW that he does so. And as a long-time member of the Rush, I'm extremely disappointed, no...make that pi$$ed off...that they would knowingly let a violent sexual predator work in their facilities where there are women and young girls 24/7. That is an abomination. Go have a beer with him if you want...that's not why we're here. He can be the nicest guy on the planet for all we care, because he's also a convicted violent sexual predator. |

P.S.- if you live in Knoxville, then we're no more redneck than you are...but you sure are acting like one. |
