This week from May 9th to May 13th is SUPPOSE to be the Spring Cleanup Week. Well I call up Johnson Rubble and for one they are only open Wednesday and Saturday and then on the Centerville website they say that you can make an appointment with Johnson Rubble during the week from 8am to 5pm, so I call them up and try to make an appointment on Thursday May 12th for 4 pm. Which is an hour before 5pm and find out he is getting his car serviced so I will have to wait until Friday. Also they are VERY hard to get a hold of. What is the point of Spring Cleanup Week when Johnson Rubble doesn't even take that much and their hours are very scarce?

I think you may have been confused. The City of Centerville pays Johnson Rubble a flat rate to accept junk during spring clean up week DURING JOHNSON'S REGULAR HOURS which are Wed and Saturday. This dumping comes at no cost to residents of Centerville. Johnson Rubble isn't responsible for the advertising and has no obligation to be open past their regular business hours. THE CITY, HOWEVER has a COMPOST SITE that is open 8-5 week days (by appointment) and from 10am to 1 on Saturday during the summer months and accepts grass clipping, branches and leaves. Appointments are made at city hall. This is information that us usually posted on the website.
