WOW You should really move to Las Vegas, NV and become the world's most amazing clairvoyant - you could make a fortune. You are so well informed about everything and everybody although you constantly repeat how little you know - this must be magic. I am impressed. As it happens, I am gifted with some psychic ability, but that's not how I got my information on you. Your slander has been sliming this forum for a very long time now. It isn't a secret, Barfy. You cannot hide your libelous posts in which you accused people using their given names of all manner of crime. Tsk tsk. That one you wrote about poor Sheriff Virden, well... it was one of your harshest. You accused him of crimes so severe that if what you said was true, he'd be going away to the big house for a very, very long time. I hope someone brought that particular post to his attention. If I was Sheriff Virden, I'd be angry... very angry indeed.

I started to watch that lame Youtube offering once and shut it off. It was unrealistic. Civilian life is entirely different from Military life and the two cannot be compared, especially certain aspects. It's not like comparing apples to apples, especially in a situation such as Officer McGarry's. No matter what the YouTube clip propagated, it just wasn't so. In case anyone has forgotten, the lack of veracity by the blood thirsty raptors had them claiming that Officer McGarry had committed a felony. This was all about a grudge from the getgo.

Seems Sean is feeling "superior" now but we all know pride goes before a fall.
Anyway, let me tell you "Pinky" - you are very right - if Virden did all these things he would go to jail for a long time and he would do so in most every part of this world... except Lincoln County, NM.- Now come to thinking!!! What I wrote about him is what is sung in the streets of LC and when Virden is angry he should make sure to either cover up his crap better next time so that nobody comes to know or better yet he should just keep his hands off such things in the first place .... just my opinion!!!
As to the YouTube video: it seems it bugs you quite a bit I have put it up otherwise you won't try to belittle it time and again. Still a fact is a fact. Did McGarry or didn't he have to go through a Special Court Martial? What was the outcome? Did anybody say McGarry was innocent or did he get a sentence and was he punished? What does the law say about a man that got punished in a Special Court Martial? Exactly - the law says he has been in conflict with the law and he had been convinced.
Now tell me again McGarry is so very innocent and his application was rightfully filled out. I don't care what Santa Fe said about this. He knew about his past and he is able to read and write - isn't he?
You are mistaken "Pinky" I am not blood thirsty - I am thirsty for the truth. I don't want McGarry's head on a silver plate - actually I don't care about him but I do care about Capitan and giving him a badge and paying him with good solid tax money although he is lying and he goes on intimidating people is what I dislike.... just my opinion but I think there are plenty more that have had it with McGarry and that will be very glad when the upcoming elections give them a chance to utter their voice and act on what they think is right.

so , military has nothing to do with normal life? tell that to all the ones serving and their families living it daily. you are wrong, pinky, if you try to split them into different segments. the job may be different, but they are Americans, and the ones I know say mcgarry was wrong and his military record is a part of his life to the end. good or bad, whether he likes it or not. and it still comes down to the lying part.and for a cop, not nice, not good, not right at all.

Of course, I was not speaking of the families but of those serving, whose lives are quite different while in the military. The military seems to treat certain issues much more seriously than than the non-military justice system. I believe that when people make mistakes and pay for them accordingly, they should be allowed to move forward with their lives unfettered, for the most part. Serious crimes perpetrated by those likely to repeat them, are a different matter entirely.

Either you are riding the erails , or you are full of double talk. You cannot have it both ways. He was court martialed, and any one in the military will tell you that is serious. You can try to sugar coat it all you want. If it meant nothing, why did he try to hide it? Get over it, he was wrong and he knows it. Now lets go talk about that reprimand, that also "means nothing".

As it happens, I've spoken to some military retirees about this matter who didn't think it was "all that serious." He wasn't a rapist or a murderer, notty. It was a fairly minor charge, nor matter how hard you try to make it into something it wasn't.

The judge is biased. Try another retiree and some current military. They "didnt think" it was all that serious? They don't know for sure? Hmm, and again, if not a problem why hide it? The serious part came back into play with the lying part. Keep up.

So only rape and murder are crimes? You got a very unique point of view - still you got a right on your opinion no matter how weird it is. As for the military - why not ask a JAG - they can tell you what a Special Court Martial is and their "opinion" is based on what the law says rather than what they "personally think". Frankly, when it is JD you've been talking to and what you wrote here is his opinion than he is not at all the right man to be judge anywhere - how could he decide about write or wrong in accordance to the law when he estimates things according to "what he thinks"? I really hope it was not his statement that you cited here. Sean is the man he has always been - wherever he has been people were glad to see him leave and he left a mess behind him. His behavior and attitude was and is still the same. You don't need to be a clairvoyant to see where this will lead him.

You are new in town and already she has driven you to drink? Funny! Mason was right, but the bottom line is, Capitan village government dropped the ball on several occasions and this was one of them. They refused to adhere to the policies of their town. pinkless swears she doesn't live here or know anyone , so don't listen to her.Go to the hall and request a copy of YOUR village policies, go to the meetings and let your opinion be heard. Elections are in March and if you are in the vill age limits, vote. In Capitan there are problems that need to be addressed, and the PD is only one of them.

Tell you what new in town, here is the skinny:
Our sheriff is the dirtiest dog in law enforcement. Has his own equipment stealing business. Slides profit right off the top of a thriving drug trade. Rumors his enemies turn up dead. So that is the great poobah ruler. Then we have a dirty cop in Capitan. We have a nut job in Ruidoso who thinks because his farts go bang, he's been in a war zone. Then we have at least 4 deputies on the take.
Each town has a thief in town hall and drugs are delivered in the Court House from the Sheriffs office next door. What was your question again?

Bottom line, watch your a** in Capitan. And if you get a ticket in Capitan, demand a court date, demand the judge recuse himself and yell bloody murder. Do not sit back and take it. No one else is any more. And that is why the threads are so full of Capitan, because it needs to be cleaned up. Oh, and for a good laugh, read your monthly water bill letter. Just don't snort your coffee while you do,.... lol.

OMG - today seems to be "dirty Tuesday" :-)
Good job, I couldn't have put it any better!!! Time to wake up and face the reality of life. TIme to take action and finally do something to make this place a better one.
Generations of people fought for the voting right - some even gave their lives for it. It's a very powerful right and you should use it.
Every vote counts - more so in a society where you cannot be sure the ladies and gentlemen in charge will count your votes correctly.
Use this right and vote for a person that stands for what is right as much as this person will fight for what is right. You need and deserve a correct city hall, a correct PD and correct clerks. Remember - YOU give them their mandate. They are elected and hired to SERVE THE COMMUNITY - means to serve YOU.
Currently it is the other way round - a handful of people take advantage of the community and obviously consider the citizens THEIR PROPERTY that they can rule and bash and intimidate and manipulate as they wish. These times are over!!!
America stands for freedom and Americans are the "brave and the free" - at least this is what I've been told. Show me it is so!!! Show yourself it is so!!!
What I read and hear about Capitan seems like a lot of people have withdrawn.... are feeling miserable and powerless, helpless, hopeless. You HAVE POWER, YOU CAN HELP IT and there IS HOPE. All you gotta do is stand up, speak up and stiffen your back - VOTE and SHOW them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It's your town, your life and your decision that makes YOUR FUTURE.

Good morning, BH. You are right, it does appear to be dirty Tuesday. But that is good, time to air out the town and clean up the place. As for. the "withdrawn", never underestimate the power of prayer, the determination of a few, and the ability of right to overcome wrong. Sometimes things are not "exactly" what they seem. If you know what I mean. And I think you do.
