Capitan police Officer faces hearing - Ruidoso News

A Capitan police officer will go before the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Board in November, to refute allegations of misconduct made against him.

The Capitan Government must immediately fire or suspend
Mr.Mcgarry.The Capitan Polices allow for "termination of employment" for (8.4):Falsification of Application.Or
7.12: Job Misconduct:"Employees charged with ..misconduct may be placed on leave." . The Mayor and Trustees must act immediately to ensure the safety and well being of all Capitan residents. McGarry has proven again that he is not capable of being an honest and ethical police officer.

I Don`t know if the town is corrupt or not but what does retaining a lawler have to to with guilt I mean If the town is as as dirty as you say wouldn`t a skilled lawler help bring it to light?

Didn't chief also demote Randy Spears when Spears was in Ruidoso?

The town is not corrupt. A VERY small handful of
people with impaired integrity are degrading Capitan for their own means. And to begin the process of fixing the problem, one of them must be fired and one needs to resign. And the rest will 'fall' into place. The trustees now only have one choice...to band together and do the right things for their town.

First they demoted Chief L. M. with Randy's help. Later Born got rid of Randy - they say it was because Born ... well let me say it in friendly terms... Born was not satisfied with Randy's work and his activities.

The first lesson in American Corrupt Politics is to find a scapegoat. This Sean character was a bad apple to be sure but if these idiots think that this is going to put all of this to an end they have another thing coming. On the 8th anniversary of 911 it absolutely disgusts me that this penny anny stuff is still going on in the United States of America. It's sad that the Chain of Command in New Mexico Government can't even deal with this mess. In Most places in this Country, Randy and Sam would be sharing a cell.

Gee, you don't think that the Ruidoso Chief of Police might be doing this to gain favor with all of you who have trashed HIM and his department, do you? I've spoken with the good Chief of P.D. for Ruidoso about you guys trashing his department. He doesn't like criticism of him or his department. There's your motive for his action in leaking this information to the Ruidoso News. Shows him to be a "good guy."

And since you and your good friends the Sederwalls, Julie Carter and others know so much and make so much about corrupt law enforcement in LC, can you please remind me how many times Steve Sederwall was arrested before he became Mayor of Capitan? How did that get overlooked by you "haters of corruption in LC"? And how come nobody reminds us on a regular basis of HIS past? By his own admission in prior Topix posts he has said he was arrested several times.

Dont get off topic, we are dealing with the current
unethical employees of Capitan. YOU can try to deflect this but it doesnt change the facts.And it isnt about revenge, it is about justice for all the crap that has been pulled in Capitan the last year or so.Maybe you still dont have all the facts.hmmm
