Teenagers out of control in CH

Why are there so many loud, noisy, obnoxious teenagers allowed to run the streets all night long in Clifton Heights? There is a group in my neighborhood who are out there every night as late as 4 am some nights, yelling and screaming. Is there a noise ordinance in this boro, and how is it enforced? I called the police precinct and got a recording telling me that nobody will call me back until Monday, or I could call 911. Do I really need to call 911 about noisy teenagers? What is wrong here?

A ordinane? are you kidding me, collingdale,aldan,folcroft,cli fton heights is so out of control with scum bags the cops are scared to do anything, the cops are bullied anymore in thier own towns come on now have you drove threw collingdale? little philly ghetto anymore

Aldan is mentioned above as out of control with scum bags. I thought Aldan still had some class left to it, even though it is surrounded by those other areas. Am I wrong about that?

I MOVED FROM ALDAN RECENTLY AND IT WAS DECENT. I DIDNT MOVE BECAUSE THERE WAS A PROBLEM. ALL CHILDREN ARE IN THE HOUSE BY 9 PM REGARDLESS OF SKIN COLOR. YOU DONT SEE TRASH ON THE STREET LIKE SURROUNDING TOWNS. PEOPLE DO NOT HANG OUT BECAUSE IT WASNT THAT KIND OF AREA. FOR THE MOST PART PEOPLE WERE NOT FRIENDLY THERE TOWARDS MINORITIES BUT WE RESPECTED EACH OTHERS SPACE. ALL OF MY NEIGHBORS WERE RETIRED OR WORKING CLASS. SO, DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU HEAR ABOUT ALDAN ESPECIALLY PENN PINES.
MY DOOR AND CAR STAYED OPEN UNTIL I LEFT AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. IN FACT, I HEARD ABOUT TWO CRIMES ON THE NEWS IN ALDAN WITHIN THE LAST FOUR YEARS. A MAN KILLED HIS WIFE AND ANOTHER MAN KILLED HIS STEP SON (SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME). PRIOR TO THAT THERE HASNT BEEN A MURDER IN ALDAN SINCE 1995 IF I RECALL CORRECTLY.

They're teenagers; teenagers are loud. I'm sure you were loud as a teenager too and if not then good for you. If it's a real problem and it's not just harmless teenager things, then as a community you need to let them know that they have to cut it out, and if they can't be peaceful about it, then call the cops on their asses.

If it's just kids drinking and doing teenager things though, then just let them have their fun while they can.

Maybe Clifton Heights isn't the town for you if you want a nice quiet town that's dead after 9PM. Personally I much prefer the action of Clifton Heights to a dead town like Drexel Hill, but I'm younger so maybe that's it.

Unruly, out of control, do whatever attitude, happens all over the world...its not whether we should tolerate it as neighbors, but when is "enough is enough"!!! Enough is Enough is when it stpes into your boundries...by any of the five senses and its offensive to you personally...and especially if its an ongoing event. Either its positive or negative, and we all know that breeding anything negative will show serious consequences down the road...it can get worse...

That type of attitude and behavior breeds the worse and will get worse if its not controlled. Unfortunately we have become a Society that has come to the point of an attitude of "Tolerate it, Shut up or Move on"...we have cowered to the attitudes of those that would bring a negative impact to our communities all over the United States of America. Americans , we need to take back America for the great Nation of good moral character and integrity. We need to go back to "wash you mouth out with soap" or a "good licking with the belt or switch"...a proverb reads that if you beat a child with a rod, it will not kill them but drive hell far from them...I am an advocate of spanking, but within boundries, and not in anger or to severely hurt a child, and not into the teens...it might hurt your hand more than his/her butt...lol...Also, the apple doesnt fall from the tree..more than likely the "vulgar language" comes from Parents and older siblings, friends, and music and movies...its got to stop at each avenue...its up to each individual to do his or her part...
