Has anyone out there ever rafted or inner-tubed down the Palouse river??

What a under appreciated river...I was in it all the time as a youth...

It's such a calm river...until spring...then it swells and floods things...at least back then it did...I miss the Palouse river...

We have canoe'd it and innertubed it a few times between the SJ/Endicott bridge and Winona. I want to kayak it when the river is high in early spring. Too late for that already! But its still FUN!

I think the Palouse river is actually a bunch of little rivers that eventually run together...I think?
I guess now with google map and all...one could actually trace it from beggining to end...but that might take the mystery and allure away from it...

I completly agree that the palouse is a totaly under appriciated river. I am planning to conoe from colfax to the upper falls this july. The plan is to take 4 or 5 days fishing and camping all the way to the park. i will let you know who it goes.
