Totally unbelievable. Here was a fine opportunity to teach these young kids the adverse effects of drugs and drug dealing. Now we teach them their going to get a slap on the hand at best. Someone has made a very bad decision with this parole and should fulfill the rest of Acerra's sentence with him.

I remember when a principal was a man to be feared because of the high moral and standards of behavior he expected from his staff and students. Now, we have one who is feared because of his drug involvement.

What does the parole board mean "unapproved contact with drug dealers"? You mean there's a method to have approved contact with a person who is illegally selling street drugs? I can say to my children today that I did indeed learn something and it happened before seven o'clock in the morning.

I was thinking the same thing, how do you get an approved visit with a drug dealer???

The parole board is trying to "delicately" say that the police or other enforcement agencies might allow "approved contact" if it meant Mr. Acerra would turn in sources--either through a sting or through some other operation. So it wouldn't be "approved" to purchase drugs rather to entrap dealers because of his previous contact.

And with regard to the length of his sentence--this was no doubt based in part on the degree of "entrapment" law enforcement committed in his capture. As many of us were aware--they have surveilled Acerra on numerous occasions. He was only ever viewed "selling" on two occasions--in Allentown. The buyer--who turned informant--and law enforcement ARRANGED for Acerra to deliver the drugs from his school office while he was staying late. Again--not suggesting what he did was "right" or "appropriate" but when the facts are known, it becomes understandable.

Your such an idiot! This is not entrapment. How do you think you arrest drug dealers? You "arrange" meetings. Idiot. He could have said, "No, Im not selling from my school, lets go somewhere else" or he could even had said "What? I don't sell drugs. Why would you ask me such a thing?" He's getting out because its called being paroled.

This is just the same b s that goes on all the time. The schools, law enforcement, and everyone in general, EXPECT better behavior from our children than we do from adults, it's ridiculous, and I am sick of it. This LOSER should be locked up and throw away the key, but no he gets a slap on the wrist. If it was a kid caught doing the same thing look out. Lets not forget that we the tax payers paid for his legal fees more likely than not. I'm sure the teachers union fought hard and spent many of our tax dollars to get this druggie off as lightly as possible. Can you taste the vomit in the back of your mouth yet?

It will be only a matter of time whether he falls prey to the evil monster of drugs.

He obviously had a problem and is and always will be paying for his mistakes. Instead of bashing him and wishing the worst upon him- it might do everyone some good to hope for the best. We know he will never get his job or the respect back that he once held. His pension is shot and for the rest of his life he will have this stigma against him. Why is that enough for you all? When did society get so evil spirited, mean, and vindictive?

I agree. What's done is done. A lot of people in this Lehizzle Valley are just miserable and judgemental. They need to worry about their own pathetic selves before casting stones at others.

'It's entirely up to the treatment provider to determine when he's ready for release,'' Taylor said.''Technically, they could keep him until his maximum sentence expires in February of 2011, but that's highly unlikely.''

This illustrates several things which are wrong with the "System" in PA:

First, he was sent to a particular state prison because of its' treatment facilities,.... but he never received any treatment.

Second, these "half-way houses" are run by non-government, independent businesses, and THEY GET TO DETERMINE how long to keep him?!!!
