Shubham was my good frnd , when we were together in class 5th ; till High School (10th) we weretogether . But i have shifted to some other town for my Higher secondary education.Then I foud Shubham in the same college of Engineering where I was joined for engineering.We have enjoyed the good time there.I am too shocked to hear the news that is no more between us. shubham was intelligent , smart and easy going guy. he was unique. I miss u gem.......

You seem to have some reading comprehension issues. The sentence didn't say that BECAUSE it was Saturday, the scene was hard to deal with; it simply said that the scene which was hard to deal with took place on Saturday.

And the people who respond to the scene of a tragic accident aren't allowed to be "affect"? The fact that other people are traumatized doesn't minimize the families' grief in any way. And really, this is a local paper--the effect on local community members is probably of more general interest than the effect on the families and friends in Michigan and India.
