Jane Radostits was the top Assistant State's Attorney in DuPage County. Elected by her colleagues #1 prosecutor in Illinois in 2006. She was fatally injured in an auto collision last week. Car which she was driving caused serious injuries to others. Her blood alcohol test was .25, three times the legal limit.
State's Attorney Birkett and numerous law enforcement officers in DuPage County professed surprise and shock that the lead prosecutor would drive while thus impaired. Human nature is such that it is incredible that the departed got totally drunk once only. The conclusion is inescapable that her weakness for alcohol was long standing, tolerated and concealed by those with whom she worked.
Diligent cops who stop Joe Blow for a missing tail light, order a breathalyzer test instanter at the slightest smell of booze. Had this same rule been applied to the hierarchy, the deceased might well be alive, receiving treatment for her illness, albeit without driver's license.
Jane Radostits is not an isolated tragedy. Similar cover-up occurs with sickening frequency. One need not travel 260 miles to DuPage County to witness cozy relationship within law enforcement and the tolerance not extended to the rest of the world. The State's Attorney of Edwards County has been accused in sworn testimony of repeatedly driving and drinking. Yet, none dares subject him to a breathalyzer test. His reaction to possible correction by his associates, "I have them under my thumb."

A U.S. prosecutor accused of using the Internet to arrange for sex with a 5-year-old girl flew to Michigan carrying sexual materials and presents for the child, authorities said Tuesday.
John D.R. Atchison, 53, of Gulf Breeze, Fla., was arrested Sunday at Detroit Metropolitan Airport after several weeks of Internet conversations between the prosecutor and a detective posing as the mother of a 5-year-old girl, authorities say.
Officials said Atchison, an assistant U.S. attorney in Florida, made the trip anticipating a sexual encounter but was arrested instead. He was carrying presents for the girl, including a doll and hoop earrings, and also had sexual materials, including petroleum jelly, Sheriff Mark Hackel said.
A federal grand jury added a charge Tuesday of crossing state lines with intent to have sex with someone younger than 12. Atchison also faces charges of use of the Internet to seek illicit sex and interstate travel to engage in illicit sexual contact. He could face up to life in prison.

yes it does sound like someone scorned---the definition which fits....despised: treated with contempt. Which is exactly how Mr. Shinkle has treated the voters of Edwards County, his so called and very few friends, and especially how he has treated his family. So take your pick from the list of people that Mr. Shinkle has scorned. Or better yet just ask. Or even better yet check for Mr. Shinkle's "ahem" (profile) on
Read on Hullaballo!!
A Toronto woman has masterminded a Web-based tool of revenge for scorned women around the world.
Tasha Joseph's DontDateHimGirl.com attracts an average 200,000 hits a day by allowing women to expose their former partners' cheating ways.
After just a few months in operation, the site features profiles of 600 men -- many of them Canadian -- and has another 1,000 under review. Entries include the guy's full name, physical description, history of purported cheating and, in many cases, a recent photograph.
"You know how the FBI has its Most Wanted list?" says Ms. Joseph, now working as a publicist in Miami. "We thought it would be great if you could do that for cheating men. This would be the Most Hated Cheaters list."
If the site's database is any indication, Alberta boys love behaving badly. Edmonton leads the country in male profiles on DontDateHimGirl, followed by Calgary and a number of rural towns throughout the province. Men from Ontario and Quebec are also featured on the site.
"I really do view [the site] as a public service to women," says Ms. Joseph, a self-described two-time victim of infidelity. "It's very treacherous out there in the dating world ... so this is a warning system for women who have been cheated on to warn other women about the guys who've done the cheating."
Traffic on DontDateHimGirl has grown exponentially in the past month alone, with a one-day record of 1,236,000 visitors after the site was featured on NBC TV's Today Show. Ms. Joseph says she receives about 100 new submissions a day but doesn't post them until she has made contact with the women to verify what's written.
She says she also tries to contact the alleged cheaters whenever possible, offering them a chance to tell their side of the story.
"Most of them say that the woman who posted [the profile] is crazy, that something is wrong with her, that they're saints," she says. "But out of the 600 guys on the site, maybe 15 or 20 have used the rebuttal service."
The men profiled on DontDateHimGirl would probably agree. At present, a number of them are attempting to launch a class-action lawsuit against the site.
But Ms. Joseph, who created the online database with legal counsel, believes she is protected by American law.
According to a privacy lawyer from Halifax, that may not be the case in Canada.
"If the person's reputation is in Canada, and they are in Canada, and likely the person who posted the information is in Canada, there's more than enough connection for Canadian defamation law to apply," says David T.S. Fraser, chair of the privacy practice group at McInnes Cooper. But he hastens to add the statements aren't considered defamatory if they're true.
"If you're a slug," says Mr. Fraser, "it's only appropriate people know you're a slug."

Hey I actually made it on that ignoble site. Classic case of scorned woman vomiting all the heart to heart stuff we talked about over a time on a website for the whole world to enjoy.
It just so happens there is details about my medical history and everything on there. Saying someone is a cheater and a cad is one thing but going so low as to suppose medical conditions on people and name what medications they take for conditions.

What kind of medications?
