See what happens when local law enforcement makes the blunder of announsing to the world that when it comes to pot growers we look the other way. People whose morals are subject to the wind came here from all over the US just to grow their pot and share their violence.

We all owe a big thanks to the Mendocino County shariffs Dept.

Come on folks, get real. These poor philanthropists were probably giving the pot to AIDS patients, with any proceeds left over to the Little Sisters of the Poor Orphanage. You folks in Mendocino love growers, remember? It is your main source of income. In Medocino, they should be viewed as a HEROES. Put a statue up in the town square. Are you all realizing that you are the laughingstock of California? Keep it up, every organized crime group LOVES your pro-pot laws and big tax free/risk free profits!

The whole "medical marijuana" industry is a scam, it is just amazing to me that the idiots were not smart enough to start yelling "medical," and "where's your damn compassion, man?"

Had enough yet, Mendocino? The Chinese Triads are moving in with la Eme and every piece of white trailer trash in the State, all to grow "medical" marijuana.

Face it. You all had a great thing going, a neat sideline income, and wanted legal insulation. So you created "medical marijuana." Of course, the law of unintended consequences brought you organized crime, disorganized crime, and violent crime (i.e. home invasion robberies). Was it really worth it?

TURN IN THE GROWERS TO THE FEDS, AND COLLECT A REWARD! IT'S FUN, EASY, PROFITABLE, AND THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

If the government becomes a law breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means 'to declare that the government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private criminal' would bring terrible retribution.
[From dissenting opinion in Olmstead vs. United States, in which the court upheld the use of wiretaps in a case involving an investigation of bootlegging. Brandeis strongly defended the individual right to privacy from government intrusion.]

While I do not agree with informing to authorities in general, I think the time has come to clean up the "medical marijuana" scammers in California. Based upon the recent uptick in raids, it is clear that the Feds are targeting Mendocino this year, as they really should. I heard the Feds are looking hard at Covelo this year, especially the Mina Road area and old Bauer Ranch, as well as Willits. Ukiah obviously is also in the cross hairs, as those fools recently busted found out.

In So Cal, they offered cash rewards for tips last year. It resulted in a huge take from forfeited property. Agents are now flooding Mendocino, the informants were in place last year. About time you guys get smart and start cashing in.

“The care and feeding of informants is big business in the U.S. government,... It's like the CIA's `black budget.' Obviously, no one really wants to keep the exact number of informants and amount paid them, because most intelligent people know that the system is being distorted by all the selling of information.”

IN ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY LOCAL NEWSPAPERS COOPERATING WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, IN A COORDINATED STATE WIDE EFFORT TO PUT FEAR IN THE PUBLIC, JUST BEFORE MEASURE B THE ANTI-MEDICAL MARIJUANA MEASURE COMES UP FOR VOTE IN MENDO COUNTY, THE LOCAL PRESS HAS STEPPED UP A RACIST FEAR CAMPAIGN ABOUT ASIAN AND SPANISH STREET GANGS “TAKING OVER”. IN RECENT MONTHS THE PUBLIC HAS BEEN HIT WITH A BOMBARDMENT OF “ASIAN GANGS” AND MEXICAN “CARTELS” ARTICLES. ACCORDING TO THE LOCAL PRESS EVERY PERSON OF COLOR IS A “GANG MEMBER” IN MENDOCINO COUNTY. To: "NO ON MEASURE B"

Measure B is not a "ANTI-MEDICAL MARIJUANA MEASURE".

It's a anti "lying, cheating, child poisoning, drug dealing, send the lawless horde home" measure.

Thank you

At present, the only facility licensed by DEA to cultivate research marijuana is the University of Mississippi, and this supply is strictly controlled by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). In contrast, all other controlled substances, including LSD, heroin and MDMA (Ecstasy), are available to researchers from multiple private manufacturers. Judge Bittner found that NIDA has repeatedly refused to supply marijuana for FDA-approved studies that aim to develop marijuana as a prescription medicine. Professor Craker’s application, if granted, would break the unique monopoly on research marijuana and allow for unobstructed, FDA-approved studies, paving the way for marijuana’s development as a fully legal medicine...(taken from ACLU website)

The Hinchey vote comes at a time when Congress has focused unprecedented scrutiny on DEA’s continued obstruction of medical marijuana research. Two months ago, a U.S. Department of Justice-appointed administrative law judge, Mary Ellen Bittner, recommended that DEA grant a license to University of Massachusetts professor Lyle Craker permitting cultivation of research-grade marijuana to be used in Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved studies that aim to develop marijuana as a legal, prescription medicine. Despite this recommendation, DEA has yet to act on professor Craker’s nearly six-year-old application

The university of mississippi, being the only one allowed to produce cannabis for the government certainly do have a monopoly.

NOTICE TO THOSE WHO DON'T GROW OR SELL POT!!!

Don't let yourself be swayed by the pro pot propagandists. They're going to do their best to convince us that there's no connection between any of the problems were are having in this county and the thousands of drug dealers getting rich at the cost of our kids health and futures and our safety and freedom.

DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!!
Their plan didn't work. It's time for plan B.

Vote YES on measure B.

The sea is dangerous and its storms terrible, but these obstacles have never been sufficient reason to remain ashore... Unlike the mediocre, intrepid spirits seek victory over those things that seem impossible... It is with an iron will that they embark on the most daring of all endeavors... to meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown.
-Anon.,
Check out the facts, look at the websites, think about wether the proposed changes will affect who you think it will....don't be guided by hateful exaggerated posts,,,look at the facts and decide what you think is best....gotta wonder about the motives of someone who uses fear as tactic to swing a vote...

This is nothing new. several of the states that are cannibis legal are only legal for research, none of which is taking place thanks to roadblocks by the feds. See,the fed's one shot at making a proprietary drug from MJ wasn't nearly as good as the real thing and the only way they (the feds) can make money off MJ is by keeping it illegal. So many tales in this county of fokls getting popped with Xlbs but low and behold when they get to court the paperwork says less than Xlbs. Where's those other lbs? Paying for some LEO's vacation timeshare. Liza was right:MONEY makes ze world go round.
