Apparently this doctor lost his rights at the hospital he was at due to a hospital discipline.
Think twice about your future appointments with him.

The link that is provided you can look up many MD's and just know who you are seeing and who's hands your putting your life in! These findings on these Md's should make us angry we have the right to know before we see a doctor that they are in fact qualified and competent! Although UVMC is known for this look up Dr. Bortz and he was their hospitalist! I don't know if he is still there since I will not take my dog to UVMC and bring it out alive!! All I can say is take that link and look up the Doctor's name before you see them know who is treating you and the level of competence.

The comminity and patients of Ukiah have the right to know the truth about Dr. Scott Gherini.

Scott, in his enlightened state, had to look beyond Sacramento for employment because his opportunities in this region essentially evaporated and it was his own doing. In January of 2008, Mercy Hospital of Folsom took the action of "termination or revocation of his privileges based on a history of inappropriate, disruptive/hostile behaviors." This is public information and can be obtained through the license lookup system on the website for the Medical Board of California. Dr. Gherini appealed the decision and lost the appeal. Scott had many chances at Mercy Folsom, including being mandated to undergo sexual harrassment training. The significance of this was lost upon him. He essentially blames everyone else for his problems and accepts responsibility for nothing.

Furthermore, vitals.com , which obtains some of it's information through physician self-reporting, states in the hospital affiliations section of Dr. Scott Gherini's profile, that he is affiliated with three hositals in the Sacramento area. This information cannot be substantiated. A query of Dr. Scott Gherini at sutterhealth.org or chw.org will yield zero results.

Scott mentions that he suffered from the disease of greed. A more accurate diagnosis would be the disease of alcoholism. You can take away the alcohol, but you still have an alcoholic. Case in point. Even after giving up the drink, Scott admitted he suffers from narcissism, he likes to laugh at the expense of others, he's insensitive and he's only out for himself. In addition to issues placing bets, Scott has anger management issues that are threaded throughout his personal life as evidenced by assaulting a neighbor in his apartment complex and committing domestic violence against a former live-in girlfriend by hitting her. Furthermore, Dr. Gherini has no respect for women. He's a womanizer and a cad.

It does not surprise me in the least that Dr. Gherini misrepresents how he ended up in this Northern California town. He's the antithesis of enlightened or spiritual and always will be. Dr. Scott Gherini's path to Ukiah has been solely directed by his self destructive nature.
