A San Francisco man was sentenced Monday to nine months in Mendocino County Jail for attempting to bribe Fish & Game Warden Gary Combes with a $50 bill.

This activity further proves the how lucritive the poaching of abalone and other shell fish has become. Stiff penalties such as this should be the norm oterwise it's business as usual

A little heavy-handed, on the enforcement side...? Officers acting Parental...? Yup....
Training in Professionalism is obviously not required for North Coast Law officers. One is not born with it.
Come on..... If this was a local Dude, I do not think there would have been a sentence like this (or any). Just a laugh and a "Forget it Dude," probably.
Remember Officers, yours is not to berate, insult or profile. Only to enforce the law.
Key words, hitherto unknown in much of the situations law-wise on this coast, "Professional - Equal treatment."
Thanks for your work, at least to the Officers that are comfortable enough with themselves personally, to not take out their frustrations on the Citizenry.
