1 It wouldn't actually do that. What it would do is turn all the sinsemilla to seedy crap of lower resale value (but the same strength per unit weight of cleaned pot). The growers are going to likely start from clones from a 'mother' plant of known quality. That's what will grow. If you breed your parent strains in a lab (the only sensible way, the way that the other agricultural firms breed), you aren't going to run into an accidental pollen issue with your stock. And there' no real certainty of genetics, anyway. You COULD end up with killer rope (picking genetic tendencies isn't something you know in advance). |

mcso cant enforce measure g.... why do you think measure b will help???

1 Huh? Once the "parent strains" are in the open, they would get polinated and turn into bunk. It would wipe out the large outdoor grows. Sounds like a good deal to me, and you hate commercial growers, right Writch? |

1 Because Measure G told law enforcement that the enforcement of all marijuana laws was the lowest priority. That plus the ability to grow the most marijuana per person attracted large numbers of commercial growers. But if you lived here you would know that. Vote YES on Measure B to tell law enforcement to go after the commercial growers. |

This "Kinder" person who is dominating this discussion is nothing but bluster - a know-it-all of the highest order....
To say that Holland was a nation of "mugging junkies," is the most absurd thing I have heard all year. Dutch youth to the tune of only 25% smoke cannabis at all, not regularly. And the adults have a similar ratio, as well.... Violent crime is almost non-existent, and there are 5 guns per 100,000 people. Also, believe itor not, growing is very difficult. It is not what it is described to be, over there, and the laws are even getting more strict - no doubt - because of our government, among other reasons. The Dutch system works a GREAT DEAL better than ours does. Although - admittedly - part of that is simply that the Dutch are more moderate people, by and large. Less likely to develop serious addictions. When things are not illegal, the temptation decreases. This 'Kinder' person claims to have "been in Holland," I am sure he is referring to a 4am traipsie in the Red Light District, for that is really the only time one sees the undercurrent of he claims to be the ONLY one in Holland. Foolish assertions abound... MJ makes people horrendously and unreasonably dramatic. It is a plane. If the stigma was removed, so would many of the worse problems. Unfortunately, it may take 2 generations for things to calm down, because of the prohibition enviornment of the last 60 years........ |
|
That is utterly absurd! Ending prohibition would eliminate the huge profits which are so attractive to criminal organizations. The *last* thing the criminals want is legalization. The Mexican Mafia wants Measure B to pass. Take a bite out of crime - end marijuana prohibition! |
|
|
Kinder, you spiteful, mean spirited fool. You name
misrepresents you. This county would be a better place if all you nasty, negative, nut-cases would find something better to do than WINE about MJ. The pot in the National Forest is out of the sheriff's juristiction. B will do nothing to stop growing on public lands. You all should smoke a fatty I recommend that you need a 'medical' attitude adjustment. |
|
|
You can thank marijuana prohibition for this problem. If cannabis were legalized, taxed and regulated, no gardener or businessperson in his or her right mind would risk losing their crop by growing on public land. The reason people grow on public land is asset forfeiture and the risk of losing their money and property.
If it were a legal, regulated market, cannabis would be grown in a controlled environment, subject to legal guidelines and quality control. It would be taxed and the revenue would be used to offset the budget deficit. People would be held accountable and penalized (as they should be) for harming the environment or causing any kind of nuisance. Mendo would have more control over the situation, not less. Measure B will do nothing but make this problem worse. Vote No on B! |

UKIAH, Nov. 8, 2000. Mendocino County voters approved Measure G, a resolution calling for the decriminalization of personal use and cultivation of marijuana, by a vote of 58-42%.
Organizers, led by the Mendocino Green Party and supported by California NORML, submitted over twice the 2,800 signatures needed to qualify for the ballot. Entitled the "Personal Use of Marijuana Initiative", Measure G Instructs the county government to support all efforts toward the decriminalization of marijuana; Directs law enforcement not to arrest or prosecute individuals for personal use marijuana violations involving possession, transportation or cultivation of 25 plants or fewer; Provides for the continued enforcement of marijuana laws against those who cultivate, transport and possess marijuana for sale. Because it does not change state law, Measure G is essentially an advisory resolution. California NORML has endorsed Measure G as a welcome step towards protecting personal freedom and reducing the costs of marijuana enforcement. "The current marijuana laws promote crime by making personal use cultivation a felony," argues Cal. NORML coordinator Dale Gieringer. "The result is to push otherwise law-abiding, responsible adult users into the hands of criminal street dealers and smugglers. By decriminalizing personal use cultivation, we can undercut the criminal market. This policy has been successfully adopted by states in Australia, where it has been shown to reduce the costs of enforcement without increasing drug abuse." Mendocino, a scenic, sparsely populated county in Northern California's marijuana-growing "Emerald Triangle," has been the scene of growing dissatisfaction with the war on pot. Both the sheriff and district attorney have voiced support for marijuana decriminalization. MEASURE BS TAKES AWAY PERSONAL USE AND DOES NOTHING FOR BIG GROWS! VOTE NO ON B!!!! |
|
"Whine" is spelled like this you hemphead loser. Go back to your bong and finish melting your brain. That is why they call it "dope" folks. Behold your "No on B" champion. |

I guess it was over-intellectualizing it that made me think he was punning, eh? In any event, it's a good one and should be pointed out. |
I eschew beer. A glass of fine French Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir does just fine, along with a frenched rack of lamb. If you want to put me on your Christmas list, I prefer the 1963 Chateau Lafite Rothschild. But you would not know about the finer things in life, would you? Go back to smoking your cheap Mexican grass and diminish what remains of your pathetic intellectual capacity. |

And who exactly would pay for this medicine? You??? The county??? Farming of any type takes a considerable amount of time, energy, and resources. Nutrients, labor and equipment all cost money. This was one of the great things about prop 215; it allowed people to produce their own medication at far lower costs than if they had to buy it. Instead of thinking up ridiculous ideas that will never work and never happen, why not actually try to do something about the problem? |

Yano, James, I've got a friend I could fix you up with who'd probably enjoy dinner (and perhaps a night at the Opera) with you (that's pretty much the meal I watched ordered last time, different wine, of course, but only due to lack of availability--nuclear physics pays pretty well). Nobody would suspect the nuke doc is gangafied (you wouldn't if you shared a meal). |
I will, like voting YES on measure G! |
