Kinda hard to do that when the guy shot himself AS the cop was getting out of the car. Get your facts straight before you go dissin' about things that you know nothing about! And there are "cops like this" EVERYWHERE!!! This small town gets publicized because...it's a small town. Stuff happens no matter what size the town is. This is on the news in metro areas all the time but it is "expected" so nobody raises a big stink. Evidently, you must live in a perfect world somewhere other than the USA or the Planet Earth!?!?!?!!?

On both the incidents in Kimball the police had video...you are all wrong and the grand jury on both cleared the officers of any and all wrong doing. As to Shawna...you are a retarded drug addict that everyone around here knows the truth about...stop lying all the time. And as to brandon, the officers shot in self defense which was also on video...grand jury saw it...and you people have absolutly NO idea the truth but you make up great lies!. Have fun saying you were there or knew about it since only the officers and brandon were present and the grand jury saw all the facts and cleared them...OH WAIT!!! only non crap bags and non drug users where on the grand jury.

i have no problem with cops, kpd specifically, they do try to do their jobs, and it would probably be a lot easier for them with more support from the county attorney and the town itself. Infact, i have been in a lot of trouble in my past, but its only my fault, not the pd. i changed my life and do what i need to to take care of my family. I wasn't there when these shootings occured, and spoke more out of grief than anything, but i will always feel that there were flaws in the investigation. I don't blame anyone for branden's death, i just think there may have been plenty of other ways to defuse the situation but then again what would i have done. as far as the officers involved, i like them and respect them, they do their jobs to the best of their ability, and could probably do them better if this town weren't so pathetic. anyone can ask any cop in this town, i will do what i can to help them or support them. I do not raise my children to hate cops, but to respect and rely on them, my oldest daughter loves cops, officer nelson (one involved in shooting) and officer Price (just a really good cop) are her favorite people in the world....i still ask myself every day if the incident with branden is or isn't justifiable...i guess we will never know but now we all just have to move on, and grow up.
