Guntersville authorities would confiscate guns of “unruly” individuals during disasters

Guntersville (Ala.) Mayor Leigh Dollar is working with city officials to pass an ordinance that would give police the power to “disarm individuals” during a disaster, a chilling example of how the second amendment is being assaulted via the back door.
IS THIS TRUE?

If someone is going nuts in a crisis and waving a gun, it seems like a logical decision to not wait for them to get mad enough to shoot someone before disarming them.

Bottom line is - be responsible adults with guns and no one will bother you or infringe upon your personal beliefs.

Speaking of Wow ---

Wow, you have really swallowed their subversion hook, line, and sinker.

Of course they're going to say 'only someone going nuts or unruly'. But I'll bet you a dollar to a donut that it isn't written into the law that way. I'll bet it'll just be a more generic statement about having the right to disarm - and just convienently leave out the 'nuts' or 'unruly' part.

If the police/homeland defence/state militia come to disarm a citizen, don't you think they're going to start claiming 'unruly and disorderly' when the citizen refused to obey their illegal order?

They know this will be a catch 22. Anything you do or any action you take that is not in complete 100% compliance to any and all illegal orders they give will be classified as 'unruly' or 'uncooperative' or 'subversive'.

You've got to fight for your rights - or they will be stripped from you. EVERY single person in Guntersville needs to CALL the mayors office and let her and her liberal cronies know that we plan on fighting for our rights, no matter how 'unruly' it becomes.

Also, there are already laws on the books that deal with the actions that police officials can take for someone going nuts in a crisis and waving a gun.

So why do we suddenly need a new law whose emphasis is on taking away of guns - unless it is going to be used to disarm the people who are not going nuts.
