These have to be the lowest of the low. To steal from graves is horrible and to resale the items make it more despicable. I hope the police catch some of these low lives!!!

Any one that would steal off of a grave site is a goul and they are also lower than dog poo. What goes around comes around, maybe another goul will steal from their loved ones grave.

Yeah, they are pretty low that's for sure. But look at the people we have investigating it; they aren't much better. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the police themselves. They probably have plenty of free time when they aren't responding to 911 calls or screwing up accident reports.

Involvement by the albertville police only ensures that the theft will continue and grow; not only around grave yards but all over the city as well. Just go ahead and call them; see if they come.

I don't know why it says I'm from Gadsden in my post above. I'm from Albertville.

"The Albertville Police want your help in catching some grave thieves."

Do you know why they want our help? Because they won't do it themselves. I don't care if they want my help or not. I wanted their help the night theives were running through my neighborhood. I called them once, and my neighbor called them twice. TWICE!! No show. Next time I'll just call the coroner directly.
Bet it gets worse

You can bet that with the economy in the dumpster like it is it will get worse than stealing flowers and brass fixtures. People will steal anything these days we'll be finding open graves next.

Albertville Police Department...is a fair and hard working department... just like any other Police department.
Everybody that's runs them.. probably didn't get things THEIR way! Grave robbing is wrong.. PLEASE LEAVE our loved ones final resting place ALONE!!!! How would you feel,... if your loved, departed family member's grave was robbed of flowers or memorials, that you place, were STOLEN but some heartless person....Think about this!! Please leave graves alone!!!!

It is such a shame that families cannot leave things on gravesites for thieves who need money for drugs,, to feed their habits............. The dead are not even respected anymore,, and relatives cannot show thier love and appreciation to family members who are deceased.. There is a pay day for those who do these things,, but is is a sad thing for family and friends to endure.. May GOD speak to their heart, as they steal monuments and things..
