KENNY RICHARD GREW UP WITH ME AND ALL OF MY FRIENDS. I LOVE HIM. HE IS NOT A KILLER,OR A BAD PERSON. WHEN PEOPLE ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND ARE GETTING ATTACKED LIKE HE WAS PEOPLE FREEK OUT. I AM NOT SAYING WHAT HE DID WAS RIGHT OR SMART OR GOOD, BUT IT WAS CRAZY. HE IS SUCH A GOOD GUY, NOT THE SMARTEST, BUT A GOOD FRIEND WHO IS LOVED BY MANY. IF HE SAID IT WAS SELFDEFENCE, WELL THEN IT WAS. I KNOW HE WOULD NEVER DO THIS IF HE WAS IN A NORMAL MINDSTATE. I SEND LOVE AND HOPE TO HIM AND HIS FAMILY AS WELL TO MEADOW FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THESE HARD AND MOST DIFICULT OF TIMES.

Andrea! I completely agree with you. Kenny has been my homie since way back and I personally believe everything he says. He doesn't deserve to be treated as a murderer especially since it is evident he has defensive wounds and a broken arm resulting from a fight with Meadows. To charge him with 1st degree murder is unrealistic and once they find the body a lesser charge will be initiated. My thoughts go out to Kenny's family and hopefully he knows we all are behind him in this.

THIS RICHARD GUY NEEDS TO SPEND THE REST OF HIS LIFE ROTTING IN JAIL! BECAUSE OF HIM A LITTLE FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL WILL NEVER KNOW HER FATHER. ALL OF THESE PEOPLE NEVER KNEW MICHAEL MEADOWS THE WAY THAT WE DID! HE WOULD HAVE NEVER ATTACKED ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT, SO FOR RICHARD TO SAY IT WAS SELF DEFENCE IS SO FAR FETCHED! IF ANYONE KNEW MICHAEL THEY WOULD AGREE! THIS KENNY KID IS A MURDER AND DESERVES THE WORST!

I HAVE ONLY KNOWN MIKE SINCE HIS DAUGHTER WAS BORN. HE WAS A VERY KIND PERSON. HE LOVED HIS CHILD AND TOOK CARE OF HER MOST OF THE TIME. A GEREROUS AND MEEK PERSON, I HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM RAISE HIS VOICE TO ANYONE IN ANY SITUATION. THIS ATTITUDE OF HIS WAS NOT PUT ON BUT VERY REAL. HE WOULD NEVER HAVE PROVOKED AN ARGUMENT OR A FIGHT. HOPEFULLY, EVIDENCE WILL BE FOUND TO EXONERATE HIM AND HIS REPUTATION. MANY HAVE SEEN HEM TOLERATE A LOT OF VERBAL ABUSE IN A PERSONAL SITUATION. HE WAS NOT A VIOLENT PERSON AND WE THAT KNEW HIM WILL NEVER BELIEVE THAT HE INSTIGATED OR PARTICIPATED IN THIS.

Not only did I know Mike for many years, I also lived with him for almost 2 years. He was a good guy who had a hard time in life. He didn't deserve to be wrapped up in a blanket and thrown over a bridge like garbage. IF his death had truly been an accident, then why would his murderer go to such great lengths to get rid of the evidence? Why not just call the cops in the first place? Mike Meadows was a non-confrontational person. Richards murdered him and that is that. I know that Mike's family is not at peace. He left behind a beautiful little girl who will now never get to be re-united with her father. Richards is a monster and deserves to rott in prison for the rest of his life. RIP Michael James Meadows, may you find the peace and the comfort in the arms of Our Lord Jesus, that you weren't able to find on earth.

to the people that say kenny's not a killer, what else can you call some one who kills another man in a drunken rage? there is only two words i could think of: murderer or killer. once you've killed someone, you are no longer that same person. so kenny might of been the greatest guy in the world but once he crossed that line, he would say or do anything he could not to get caught. he might even throw a dead body in the trunk of his car, drive 30 miles with him and then toss him off a 150-foot bridge, then go back home and try to clean up all the blood with bleach. that sounds like a killer to me, something straight out of a horror flick. i knew mike pretty well, and he was maybe 150 pounds soakin' wet and never won a fight in his life. so to stab him until he bled to death is hard kinda hard to believe that it was self-defense. i don't pretend to know what Montanans death penalty is but i'm sure they are a lot tougher on murderers. but anyways, on a spiritual note, i really hope mike has gone to heaven and doesn't remain here as a lost soul. i pray they find his body to bring some sort of closure. it really bugs me that he can't have a proper funeral cuz some fool decided to dump his body like it was a piece of trash. mike had a lot of problems with depression and motivation but he had a good heart and he always ment well, he love kids and pets, i've never seen him hurt anyone. i'll miss talkin' with him about really hip-hop and the rap game. i hope he's chillin' up in heaven with 2pac and mac dre, i know that would be a dream to him. mike, go with god and know that you are missed. in the words of bob marley; ONE LOVE.

p.s. just cuz kenny had wounds dosen't mean it was self-defense. i mean, really think about that statment and how unintelligent it sounds, the first thing that a person with at least two brains cells left thinks is; maybe, just maybe, mike might have been try to fight for his life. did that ever cross you mind dude? i know if someone was killing me i'd leave a few wounds too. let that rattle around in you tin can, homie. stop, and try your hardest to think before you write, it might help.

dont say let that rattle around in your tin can, homie. i do think before i write, and obviously your friend michael had some good times with you. i'm not saying he was any kind of bad guy, so don't get all offended those of you who have written in his defense. in reality, it does look like a bad case for kenny, and i agree why dump the body if it was self defense? but the truth of the matter is this; both of them were wasted, probably on some drugs, and if you somehow unintentionally killed someone and were all f-ed up you might try and hide the body. my friend kenny was helping yours with a place to stay and food in his belly, so remember that when you start getting all uppity and calling people cold blooded murderers. fyi, its pretty difficult to break your own arm, regardless.

Mike was staying with this guy, and looking for work for 2-3 weeks. 2-3 WEEKS! Everyone knows how hard it is to find a job these days. I can understand people trying to paint Mike as a mooch or free-loader if he had been there for 2-3 months, but only a couple weeks? He was MURDERED, say it with me now, MURDERED in COLD BLOOD! and more than a week later, his body is still missing. There is NO defense for the man that took his life. There is NO justification for murdering someone. PERIOD.

What's done is done. It is a most unfortunate time for the loved ones of both Mike and Richard. I will not share my stance on how Richard should pay for his actions. If he is as decent a person as his friends have defended he is, he'll struggle with this matter until his time comes. Life is the most precious gift imaginable, so if you feel sad for Richard at least you can rest with the knowledge that he's still around. If he has to spend the rest of his life in prison, you can send him letters and extend your support. Mike and his loved ones on the other hand, have a different set of circumstances. Men are weak at times and because of this laws were created to restore order to civilization. Richard's fate will lie in the hands of other people who must attempt to understand a situation of which only two were involved and one remains with blood on his hands. For both of their sakes, I hope justice is found. My heart goes out to all affected by this horrific tragedy, mostly though to both of their parents and especially Mike's daughter. Richard, may you find peace in the aftermath of this troublous time. I urge you to be honest with yourself, only then will your road to salvation begin. RIP Mike. Let this settle itself as it may. You've been through too much to keep on hurting. You left a much greater impact than you'd ever be aware of. Little K ... I know for a fact, that your Daddy loved you very very much.

NOBODY knows Michael the way that I do, I mean NOBODY. He was a good man, and a troubled man. He struggled most of his life. And he left behind the most amazing, wonderful and most beautiful little girl, and we will all miss him so much, especially his daughter. But lets all remember the good things about Michael, his laugh, his music (the real hip hop), his stupid, yet sometimes funny jokes, the way he lit up when he played with his daughter. So please in this time lets forget about his MURDERER trust me he will get what he deserves. Lets all remember Mike and what he left behind, and those are memories. Please stop making him out to look like a bad guy cause he TRULY was not. I thank all of my friends for defending Mikes good name. If you want to post something, please post a postive memory of Michael, because like it or not his daughter will see all of this some day, we can not protect her forever, and she will see all of these things you all have written about her father, so lets remember him in a positive way. Please for his daughters sake. Post a memory of Michael that you have. To the family of Cyril Kenneth Richard II, Im sorry your son is a murderer, I know that this must be hard for you as it is even more hard for me and the family and friends Michael left behind. Please know that our prayers are with you also. Please pray for everyone involved in this whole thing. RIP MICHAEL JAMES MEADOWS you were a good man and never deserved this. Thank you for all the memories. See you in heaven MIX MASTER MIKE!! Spin another record for me and your baby girl beanie!!

To me it doesn't matter how drunk or high, or hopped up you are, You still know right from wrong. But, I don't want to really go into that, because I feel that God knows the truth, and He will judge this young man Justly. I wanted to remember some good times that I had with Mike, Back in the day. I remember Oldies Sundays, most definately. The real Hip Hop. Collecting CDs for Mike to sell at Dimple so we could pay our rent. "Where da' Bean's?" John Ascuaga's Nugget December 2002. Playing in the pool @ FTV with the Girls. Learning to love SpongeBob Squarepants. I'll never forget his laugh or how much of a goober he could be sometimes. Mike, more than anything, I regret us losing touch with each other. Not only did you never know how good of a friend you were to me, I didn't even realize it until it was too late. I'm eternally sorry, and I pray that you have found peace, and that you know that your friends and family love you and miss you. We will all take good care of Litte Meatie, and make sure that she knows that you were a good man. God Bless you Mike Your friend, Hambone.

mike and i made a whole cd together. he went through all of his cd's and pick out his favorite songs and if the song had a few seconds of beat with no lyrics, i would cut/paste/loop that part of beat and make a whole beat out of that small sample. we ended up with 18-20 beats and they came out pretty good. he liked to listen to them when he was doin' graveyard security at the mall. it was a large project and we spent countless hours on it. we also made some badass mixtapes of hip-hop and oldies. i'll dig threw my many spindles of cd's to try to find a copy of these projects if anyone wants a copy please let me know. it was music he loved and if you knew mike, you knew that hip-hop and oldies where a huge part of his life. as for my comments before, i stick by them and i really don't care what anyone else has to say about them. i will say what's on my mind and continue to speak from my heart. i have no sympathy for killers and i refuse to waste my prayers on them. murder goes against all that god stands for, the destruction of life. the only one who can save kenny's soul is himself and there are still no guarantees, he will most likely spend eternity roasting in the flames of hell. that's just how it works. do you want murderers in your heaven?

really, really unfortunate state of events.... i knew 'em both and just found out today this went down.(march 6th) they were friends, best friends. i don't understand all the particulars involved. i'm just numb. liked 'em both..... i don't wanna think of this on divided lines - if you knew them like i did, you would know that this is the most extreme thing that could have happened. i don't know what happened but i think it was just a drunk fest junk show that went really bad. i struggle with what kenny did after mike died. it doesn't seem like kenny would do that. poor mike - he was a super nice guy. i genuinely liked him. the sad thing is kenny did too. i'm sure he will be haunted by this forever...

e-one. your heaven and mine aren't the same, so don't pretend like we all buy into your prayers, God, heaven and hell argument. kenny was just as good a freind to us as michael was to you so don't act all high and mighty. and brian, i like how you put it. kenny will obviously be haunted by this forever and if that is not a punishment lasting eternity i don't know what is. obviously both these dudes were loved by many people so don't be pushing all your beliefs on us, buddy.

I forgot to mention one thing: Most of you are writing by emotion only, with no sense of logic or reason to your posts. OUT OF EMOTION! Is that not the case in this case? They acted out of emotion, with no logic or sense to their actions. Most of you are doing it in your posts, is it not ok for Mike and Kenny to act out of emotion? That is obviously the case, and when acting from emotion with out thinking, like most of you, you do/say things which have no logical backing. That makes you act out of character. You all know Mike's/Kenny's character and base your beliefs and assumptions on this. They acted out of character, and thus what you know of your friends goes out the window. I am trying to be as reasonable as possible about this, so don't go making smart ass comments back to me, think before you post, THINK!

To all who are taking sides: Nobody knows what really happened, therefore nobody can call Kenny a cold-blooded murderer and say that he deserves a bullet in his head. That is a ridiculous comment, please think before you speak. Don't speak on emotion, speak on logic. All friends of Kenny agree that he is not a cold blooded murderer, he a reasonable person, and have known this since he was a weee-lil guy. All friends of Mike know that he is not one for confrontation and has a genuine heart, wouldn't hurt a fly. Ok so how did this happen then? NOBODY KNOWS! That is the main point. NOBODY CAN SAY KENNY IS A COLD BLOODED KILLER AND DESERVES this and that. What he deserves is solely dependant upon his actions, of which are unknown. They were completely wasted. Times when I have been completely wasted I have done things that I regret, things that are not me, I have been in fights, I don't think it unreasonable that I could have been killed at some point because of this, but that has not happened to me. I have never been in a fight when I am sober, I act very reasonable when I am sober, but when you add alcohol to the situation, both sides can get out of hand. If you stab someone in the right place, a lot of blood can be lost VERY quickly, unknowinly to the perpetrator. Did anybody read how much they drank? A ridiculous amount, and since Mike is only 150 lbs while Kenny is quite a bit larger, drinking the same amount, both finishing the night with 40's of old E, Mike is going to be much more intoxicated than Kenny, that is assuming they matched drinks earlier in the night. A person who is more intoxicated than the other will act more out of character than the other, you cannot argue against that. Do you really think Kenny just decided he would kill Mike because he wasn't paying rent. That is ridiculous. He killed him because they were wasted and something went wrong, whether Mike instigated it or Kenny, whether it was in self-defense or not, that is unknown, therefore no judgements can be made. I fell sorry for both Kenny and Mike, and their friends and family, for this is a terrible situation. BOTTOM LINE: NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED, so don't go running your mouth like you think you know. Don't be irrational because you lost your friend. Try to think rationally. All who know Mike say its Kenny's fault, all who know Kenny say it was in self-defense. ANDREA--just beacause kenny says it was in self-defense doesn't mean he is telling the truth. But also, it doesn't mean he is lying. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED. We may never know, all we know is that a tragedy has happened, and it is a mysterey as to why. According to everyone posting, both were reasonable people who wouldn't "do that". Lets just be logical here in the future posts, as G-unit has been... Jennifer Schamber---Have you ever been drunk and hopped up on drugs, do you know that that when you are, it is completely possible to lose complete conception of right and wrong, complete control of self??? Don't speak out of ignorance.
