i dont know about school wise, but they could have brought in businesses like a groc. store or drugstore like Wallgreens,or a HyVee or something to lower tax revenue, but, instead they built a new Monroe Clinic and now a new housing complex which will require more city sewer and water and yet more higher taxes for everyone!
Bring in business and jobs to ALbany!
How about a subway of the bike trail? instead a housing complex?why?

I agree totally! Albany could be an up and coming community but it is a dead town. They can't even keep two restaurants, but of course the three bars are booming! The river is quite an asset but along it is crumbling old rotten buildings that are certainly not green! Albany needs jobs and in the least a grocery store and drugstore, some where the kids can get jobs. Someone is holding the strings too tight and choking us to death.

absolutly! One problem is there is no room down town as its a one way street!Across teh street from the Mobil is going to be a 85 house complex and how many houses are for sale in Albany that hasnt sold?

Alls I asked is for a HyVee,Walgrens, subway,With the bike trail across the street a subway is perfect.

WE hear we need business, but we hear a bank wanted in but that fell through. Now that Ogden moved to Mexico,we have yet another empty business/building and of course our taxes skyrocket to cover lost tax revenue.
