City of Albany needs to leave the Water Rates as they are, they are too high now.

The citizens of Albany should not have to pay for the BIG mistake the city took upon themselves when they just couldn't let Millersburg have water.

There was no money for this large project, but they didn't care they just went ahead with it anyway.

The City should have to budget themselves just like the citizens have to. If we don't have the money for something..do they care? NOT!! And if we can't pay our water bill they DON'T CARE they will just shut our water off.

Wake up Albany and get your wallet inline with your spending.

I live in a small place and we keep an eye on our water use... and we are still paying way more for water here than when we lived in CA where they have drought problems on a rather steady basis. I hear from friends who are home owners that we are paying more for our water bill than they are for theirs and they have a family of 5 taking showers, while only 2 of us live where I am. I believe we are at the end of a pipeline or something because our water pressure is a joke. Long story short, I agree with "Unknown in Albany" that the water rates here are already higher than they should be... by a lot. They should resolve the issues with water meters or whatever is over charging particular areas of the community... fix what's broken before you decide to simply charge more. Economic downfall and you want to make it harder on people by charging them more for the necessities? Just seems cruel and uncalled for.
