Now that the dreaded D-Day has come and gone to release any coach that is going to be released, what about our team? I keep hearing that some are not playing this year, but with a great point guard coming back and a young supporting cast I think out Lady Dawgs are going to be just fine. I have heard good things are going on in open gym and the girls are progressing fine.

Well dont get me wrong i try to get along with everyone!!!! But why have a "Coach" for the Lady Dawgs that was once the superintendent of clinton county school system that was doing God know what. If he was realy doing anything wrong. ask hime to resign and then a few years later hire him back as a employee of the school system let along the GIRLS coach!!! boy our school system is realy smart!!! Heck lets hire Michael Jackson to coach the boys or the a cathlic preist be the P E teacher.!!!!!!

McSteamy lets keep this posistive. Gibson is going to be the coach and the community needs to get behind the team, coach included. Ever hear of making the best out of a bad situation? The parents wanted rid of the coach on Hoosiers also, but we see who was right in that deal.

Enough negative. I have heard that a few former players are interested in the assistant jobs.

I thought we could have a good discussion on this. While I am not a supporter of Gibson, I do know that as long as we are divided on the team, then the girls will suffer.

Everyone needs to get over the past and get with the program so the girls can have the best shot at winning. Total confusion is not good for anyone. Face it folks, Coach Gibson is here for at least one more year and probably 2-3 more at the least. Go Dawgs!

I am not meaning to be rude. I just want to talk about our upcoming season and give our girls the support they deserve from our community. Not the negative talk that was abounding last year.

Open Gym???? Are you kidding??? So,,,know it all,,, How many girls are going to open practice? Dont say alot cause you know it isnt true!!!! Funny he waited untill his job was on the line. If he had done that last summer, then a lot more people might have given him some support!!

D-day as you call it has not come and gone yet. The legislature extended the cut off days for letters to later in May. I am not sure if he will coach or not, just commenting on the day of letters.

To all you supporters of the girls basketball team...You need to know that most of the girls and their parents have told the superintendent, principal, most of the board memebers they don't want Mr.Gibson as the coach next year and have asked for a new one coach to help get Clinton back on their feet and have a winning season. The admin has done nothing but; put people off and listen with deaf ears, if your interested in helping the girls team, PLEASE go out to the superintendents office and voice your concerns for getting a new coach. These girls don't deserve to have to deal with a coach that doesn't give a da#@ about how they feel or if they even win any games. He's not there for the team and girls...just for the money Clinton Co school sys is giving him to be coach. Sam's making the girls team look like a bunch of loser's with no potential. Is this what you want the team to look like???? I really hope not!!! There are some wonderful girls on that team, with the right coach they will go very far in their basketball career. If you have any concerns for these girls PLEASE VOICE YOUR CONCERNS... before it's to late.
