Kay was a good sheriff that was fair with everyone.Rick has more on his plate than Kay had with a growing beaner population and drug use.It would be nice if Rick could get them all but he would have to do it all over again after they are released.The next sheriff would have to be a Johnny Cummings type to scare them all out of Clinton co.

I did not live in Clinton County when Kay was sheriff but I heard a lot of good things about him from people I have met. Regardless of what happened to his daughter, Kay was an honest person and did care about the people of this county and I'm sure he still does. You cannot pass the sins of the father on to the child, nor can you pass the sins of the child on to the father. If I read the news article correct Kay had no involvement in the problem and was cleared.
