I absolutely agree with Sue on the Amanda thing.

I do own Cruel Sacrifice and Little Lost Angel and musch prefered the latter. Cruel Sacrifice had me bored reading so much on Melinda and Melinda's past. I mean I bought that book because I wanted to learn more about Shanda and the crime and ended up reading more than I needed to know on Melinda.

Also if you read the script of the Maury Povich show it seemed that Aphrodite Jones liked Melinda quite a lot (not her crime of course) and stuck up for Melinda and her mother. I do wish there was some way to see this show.

However I am keen to find out what the new Discovery thing will be all about.

Even though Amanda had nothing to do with Shanda's murder, I believe if she would have kept her ass away from Shanda, she would still be alive, I think it's partly her fault that Melinda & her friends murdered Shanda because she kept playing games & leading them on. I hope Shanda haunts Amanda & her friends in their dreams every night for the rest of their lives.

Myself I do not give Jacque's contact information to anyone. As far as I know no one else here but Mary speaks with Jacque. Mary has known Jacque since they were kids in school together. Jacque does not speak with anyone about the case unless it is to help a group or something like that.

I just wanted to get something done and not without permission from Jacque as I think it's the wrong thing to do as it concerns her daughter. I am not looking for an itnerview whatever, she needs her peace and I am the last that wants to disturb her.

I've been thinking the very same thing. In my writing of the second verse of the song I'm working on, I keep wondering if Jaque would even want me doing this? I've decided to finish it, and then at that time, email it to Sue or Mary and see if they would pass it on to her. If I do this and she doesn't approve, what's the point? A gift is not a gift untless it's recieved.

I keep on reading everywhere that the episode 'Mean' of Law & Order was based on the Shanda Sharer crime (I haven't seen it), but nowhere am I reading about episode 'Daddy's Girl' of LA Dragnet with Ed O'Neill.

This was on TV in Holland last year and instantly I knew it was based on/inspired by Shanda. The episode starts with a young girl found by a lake she's been set on fire....however she is still alive and she's taken to the hospital.

It turns out that there's a lesbian love triangle hence she's killed, also one of the killers is a girl looking A LOT like Laurie and she's very into rituals, black magic (sound familiar?). However the burned girl eventually dies in the hospital.

The girl has also been kept in the trunk of the car, and before she was burned the girl was totured as well. There are SOME things that are different but further it is Shanda's crime completely.

I am surprised I have never heard anyone menion this episode as it's more like Shanda's crime than the Law & Order one I believe. I do have it taped somewhere, maybe I can find a way to put it on YouTube
