That does not sound like same doctor.
Doctor that I am talking about was left disabled and had to use a walker last time I saw him about 10-12 years ago.
His father was also a doctor and he had taken over his medical practice.

It's one and the same, his father was my son's pediatrician who made the referral to Emory University where he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, we then have had much interaction with Easter Seals as a result. The last time we say Dr. Paschal he was in a wheelchair.

Yes, Dr. Tommy Paschal. He took over his dad's very successful Pediatrics practice. I believe his wife's name was Karen. She was an RN, and SUPPOSEDLY medicating him to help him get over the flu, but actually had her eye on his very large life insurance policy. He was left disabled and had to give up medicine. I know he sold real estate for awhile... If my memory serves me correctly, she was basically just slapped on the hand and banished from Dougherty County. I think she moved to Florida. I don't even know if she lost her license... It's been several years now, but these are the facts as I remember them. My brother knows alot more, as he and Tommy and Tommy's brother Dean have been best friends since they were kids and they all stay in contact with each other.

I don't remember that, but it's been over 20 years ago, too. It would be interesting to hear what she did after leaving Albany.

Karen did try to kill Dr. Tom Paschal. He was my baby's pediatrician and it made me sick to my stomach - and even sicker when she got away with it!! Yes, shame on Dougherty County! He was the best pediatrician in Albany!!! Everyone loved him!

always remember one thing about Karen Paschal...once a sicko...always a sicko! She will strike again...no doubt! Maybe then she will be put in prison like she should have been 20+ years ago!

But, Dr. Tom did go to the trial and plead mercy for Karen. That was the reason she got a light parole. I hear he has since come to his senses.
Does anyone see Dr. Tom any? How is he doing?

Last I heard, he's doing just fine, well... all things considered. He sold real estate for awhile several years back, and I think he works with Easter Seals now. His brother told my brother that he has many friends and gets a whim sometimes and flies off to Vegas for a few days. Must be doing good!

Dr. Tom used to live across from my mom and I on 3rd Avenue in Albany. If anyone still talks to him let him know that my mom, Mary Alice Long, passed away from polycystic kidney disease on December 11, 2009.

I was going to stop by and see him while I was in Albany taking care of my mom's affairs but I wasn't sure if he still lived in the same house.

I'll pass that along to my brother. They talk every now and then. I'm sorry for your loss. Tommy's mother died just a few months ago, too.

Mallory, does he still live in the same house in Albany? On 3rd? I wasn't sure if he had moved or not.
