P&P Garden Center or Mark's Melon Patch. Mark's is EXPENSIVE, though. I bought three bushels for $90 there, then the next day went to P&P and bought anouther three bushels and those were just sixty-something.

Does anyone know where I can purchase white acre peas and have them shipped? I am a transplanted Georgian now living in Alaska and greatly miss those wonderful little darlings, along with green peanuts. I have found peanuts, though the shipping is very high, but I have not found any good peas, much less white acre peas. I appreciate any help.

I have been searching for these peas for years, prefer them dried. My wife is from Northern Fla and we love the field peas, particularly the white acre, but you cannot find them in the North. We bring home a case or two every time we visit. Would love to find a source for a 50 pound sack of them dried.

It will be cheaper to take it as check-in baggage when I fly back. I prefer the fresh, but I will take the dried, if I could find them. Wish they would grow up here, but I know better, unless I build a greenhouse.

Did you get an answer? I am a transplanted Florida Cracker, living in Ohio, and would sure love to taste these peas again too.

I have not received a reply. However, doing a little research, I found some places that have them, but the shipping is way too much. The cost of living in Alaska, I suppose. In Ohio, you shouldn't have as much trouble, as the shipping should not be as bad. You are a lot closer to the source. Good luck!

Kelly's produce on Philema Road next to the Moose Lodge has a variety of fresh peas and butterbeans already shelled and chilled.
